I miss that Cookie guy

He told me something profound. You are what you read. I was reading Frantz Fanon and his opinion was it is better to read something that is more uplifting. Seeing what belief in marxism did to Oloo. I have to say Cookie statement was life changing. If OO would have focused on Finance, Medicine or law he would have lived a more rewarding life. We need to focus on what we want to be and move away from stuff that adds no value to the present life.

I actually disagree.Outside your work needed reading..just read anything random..it will teach more than trying to focus ..for me best reading you can do if busy is newspapers..they coer wide areas..I love the economist and old times...from my dad old days till now.Focus on stuff on you need to know..like bean counting..otherwise read wildly and widely..your brain will do the magic of making irrelevant relavant

Thinking is actually pattern matching...artificial intelligence focus on training the computer to make sense of nonsense..so gazillion of nonsense are fed..and its trained to find patterns to make sense of it.Machine learning,  natural language processing is feeding your brain with nonsense..lots of nonsense..and slowly training to decipher pattern of sense in the noisy..that is how human brain work..it has no specific goal..when learning....just take load of nonsense ..process and remember the patterns so next time you can quickly identify the patterns of sense from non sense .Don't read with an end goal..read randomly.The stuff you think wont ever be useful like we did chemistry will come handy without you knowing

Why should one person dictate what you read? That is akin to being hacked and programmed.

Things are more of a intricate web or system. One time you are a bean counter; the next you are resolving conflicts; next you are into health deciding which fever to take the kid to hospital for; the other you into technology; next on to politics;

academics push for this myopic specialisation in a pointless dick measuring contests- my field is superior- my discipline has all answers- nonsenses.

I think i did not convey my message. He was more talkimg about in being more ideologically driven by certain dogmas like marxism

sema my guy, it's been a minute since i last posted online.  enyewe it's been like over 5 yrs because I think things went south in rcb in 2014 if i'm not wrong. i miss those ndays of 'shada and rcb when we were young and foolish. once in a long while i take a peak at what is happening onrine and i see akina pundit are still wrestling in the cesspit about ruto like his life depends on who becomes next president.

unfortunately, what happened to OO was tragic but we are seeing more of it with wazees our age after having wasted their energies on useless pursuits. for all it's worth, not much has changed in zamunda despite all the makelele and it's going to get worse after 2022 regardless of who wins

Cookie .... words of wisdom and experience.... to think RV Pundit was with us from the beginning and just doesn't get it. Like @Cookie many of those members who were present on Mashada slowed down and got down to things that work for us and our families ... certainly not politics. While makina OO (RIP) fell by the wayside, I think the only shada who did a successful transition into real politics is Ngujiri Wambugu, one time ODM damu  :o

Cookie, yours is a lesson to the Youth just joining these forums who seem excited by social media. The more things change the more they remain the same. Kenya is all talk and looting for those who get into a position to do so. Makelele is just the case of chura wont stop the cow drinking water from the river. How terribly sad especially when one is supposed to love their country of birth.

You're hidding behind cookie - yet daily you engage in personal attacks - go back to toilet.com - this place is too decent for you.

Eti I am decent, eti AoH is hiding behind Cookie, sikuogopi! Look who is lecturing on "personal attacks",. Pundit runs roughshod over members on this forum and when he meets his match, he squeals like Sonko. Grow a pair and stop being emotional at your age, surely! Kwanza you have a deeply ingrained misogynistic attitude.
.... Women like you - need help - because look at yourself - you're an idiot who can only survive with affirmative action.

Ruto is never going to be president in Kenya, I hope you come to terms with this as soon as possible so we can move on to other important issues in life. As for vision, whatever you write here is not Ruto’s vision, his is wheelbarrow nation, that’s what he could come up with after almost thirty years in government. As for your vision, it’s easy to be an online worrior and drunkenly churn out ideas, you are not the first one, Kenya is a country of big ideas and poor execution.
says a Slumdog in Atlanta or Boston.Your low IQ think you can lecture me or Ruto.Drive trucks. I own many....

Hi Cookie
Nice to see hear from you. Yeah nothing changes in these fprums it complete circle jerk and unless you have the talent to go out there and practice politics in real life it just best to observe from a distance.
