"willing buyer willing seller" is a term only sells to a fool.

Kenyatta post independence used state machinery to transplant gikuyu villages to middle of RV complete with kikuyu village names. This is state sponsored displacement!

How so? Kenyatta just dripped okuyus there and you guys continued scratching your balls???

What did you want us to do? Start war? We started and you've been unhappy ever since. People complain - infact when Kenyatta now moved to Nandi, Kericho, Baringo and Elgeyo - a redline was drawn.  At least Nakuru-Transzoia-UasinGishu - were contested with Maasai - before arrival of brits - no man lands btw Kalenjin and Maasai - it's was pasture land.

By 1850 towards 1875 - Kalenjin had decimated Maasai and kicked them out of the plains. Maasai therefore signed off the land to Brits that really didn't belong to them. There were barely any settlement on the land - stretching from Kitale to Limuru - because it was pasture land - that was heavily contested. You could easily lose your cattle there to cattle raiders. But still land belonged to Kalenjin - and Maasai. Not Kikuyus or Luhyas or Luos or Gusii. After Brits left - Maasai and Kalenjin should have been given back their land.

Lenana gave out land in two agreements. Kalenjin also gave out land in peace agreement and treaties with British. All these kenyatta ignored and grabbed with new breed of black kenyans land belonging to indigenous.

What ought to have happen - British should have handed back Maasai the land - as agreed in Anglo-Maasai treaty - Nairobi, Naivasha, Nyandarua, Nakuru,Laikipia, Uasin Gishu and I think Tranzoia - Brits allowed Maasai to retain Narok, Kajiado and North Laikipia - otherwise they would had been British-Maasai war - Anglo-Nandi treaty - Anglo-Kipsigis treaty (Kispisis allowed British land to plant tea and borabu border in lieu of war) - or those that were taken as war repartition (British took Nandi land including Turbo/Kipkaren that you Luhya uncle live on as punishment/war repartition for refusing to accept British rule). But don't imagine the Nandis have forgotten that British stole their land in Turbo...and new owners then came in.

Kikuyu land the same..they lost Kiambu and Tigoni..and few thousand of hectares in Thika.

Other tribes basically lost 100 or 1,000 acres here and there for building gov offices...nothing like 2M acres of Maasai-Kalenjin land.

The Brits handed it to kenya gov - who then proceeded to replace the white colonialist with black one.

But I believe these are now forgotten issues. We are moving forward.  Kikuyus after war with Brits including having their balls crushed - deserved some land - who knows - we would be Zimbwabwe.

You want to go back - and wake up the demons - go ahead. Most kenyans just want to move on - and forget about the past.

By who? The maasai had a claim on it

One hopes he is paid per word. Otherwise Ruto was elected while indicted by ICC for crimes against humanity. That is day western nations gave up on KENYA. There is nothing that can beat that. You will bring Kiamba, Muteshi and all that...but it will not register. Folks know nobody is truly innocent - nobody is perfect.

In 2013 - after two ICC duo - 3rd guy to get most votes was SONKO - confirmed jail-bird who jumped prison - the next was drug dealer Kabogo - replaced by Waititu (a mungiki who is barely literate) - IN KIAMBU. All of them got more than 1Million votes.

Kikuyu need to go back home man. The issues you have created elsewhere will never be settled till you go home.

Ruto is being milked by central churches. It is good it is their money he has been stealing
@Plato, who told you it is only Centro money? You apparently have no clue what kind of war chest the tangatanga have. They have been amassing wealth literally stealing from ALL the counties ....

Quote
Documents filed in court by ARA show that the money started pouring into Gachagua’s accounts soon after the Jubilee administration rode to power in 2013.

He received funds from the Ministry of Lands, State Department for Planning, Ministry of Health, Bungoma County Government, Mathira CDF, Nyeri County Government and the National Irrigation Board.
...
According to the ARA documents, another firm known as Encartar Diagnostics Limited received Sh50 million from Bungoma county on June 10, 2015.

Three days later, on the June 13, Sh35 million was wired into Gachagua’s account....

Plato, what part of my rebuttal are you not getting? Rigathi is some MP in Central Kenya. What is he supplying in Western that has to (come from) and be paid to him 600KM away in Nyeri? How are we "getting our money back" when that money just slipped out of Bungoma County????

Rigithathi is not going to nyeri to share the loot. Ruto is the one donating the money.

Pundit has massive blinkers as usual - Kalenjin and Maasai got all that RV span through genocides much worse than mbeberu himself. They didn't deserve to have it back. You can't have arbitrary ownership date as if there was legal acquisition. Any whiff of PEV and diaspora - in fact Kenya - will gang up against Mobutu and Kalenjin. Of course the "warriors" are in their best behavior right now - fighting Ogiek and Purko :) - I think Sudi and Ng'eno have been ordered to zip it by Mobutu.

This water under the bridge.. Rigathis will be squeezed to penury unless they renounce Mobutu. That's the trouble with grabbing in banana republic- not even Tangatanga can defend his filthy linen. It worse than Rotich. Even Sonko, Kiunjuri, Duales are literally shackled for that reason - and can only shadow-box. Mobutu's money still can't beat GoK.

I suspect rigithathi is laundering his brothers immense wealth gotten from stealing road reserves all over nairobi. He was a surveyor that stole like no other person during moi and cashed out during kibaki and uhuru...the idiot died from cancer. I know his distant relatives well. They were deeply involved in kplc scams especially the rural electrification..very rotten family.

Yes. It baffles me why a Gachagua can dare take on GoK - ana kichaa - he will be left penniless.

You overrate gov abilities and power. They have none of those powers. All they can do is take you to court. Judiciary ndio mambo yote.

Arc will now take gachagua wealth and reduce him to a commoner and 5 years from today he may serve time in jail. Thst is a good start. Gok has the prosecution powers and enforcement of court orders. When judge rules ruto hotel and assets seized it is the govt that executes these orders. Raila can just come to power order that ruto corruption be a priority and bang your thief is hot soup
