I believe there was MOU that Kibaki failed to honour - and that basically had power-sharing agreement btw LDP and NAK. Kibaki was suppose to oversee new constitution and it went to Bomas. Gema were fearful of Majimbo - Raila gave them devolution - they refused and Killed Prof Mbai who had brilliantly manage to get us the German model that would be the middle of the extreme demanded by RV/Coast gang - and central gov by Gema wing- and run to Kilifi - whipped up - katiba with district focus thing like Mois of 1980s.

It would take 2007 war for GEMA to realize there were on un-sustainable path and to sue for peace.

In short - the bitterness has built up from there - to of course 2007 and ICC - and for Raila rigging of 2007 and all subsequent elections. It's been a whole generation of hatred.

That is why for Uhuru to turn 360 degrees would be inviting what faced Moi in 2002.

Moi had  for a generation whipped an effective anti-Kikuyu alliance - and in 2002 turned 360 - to support a Kikuyu. Many within KANU felt betrayed and joined Raila's bandwagon.

To this day many don't know what kind of madness got into Moi to endorse Uhuru to head an essentially anti-GEMA ticket.

But you know "God" works in mysterious ways because KANU was going to kill the country and would have continued if not for that blunder. Economy had long tanked and was now decelerating.

Now I see the same "God" working in mysterious ways to relieve GEMA of their oligarchs who have for many years endagerered their lives and properties by engaging in dangerous politics of betrayal and brazen rigging.

Moi at least showed his hands very late in 2002 - but here are some insular GEMA elite showing their hand so early - and allowing folks to plan.  They will be revolution in GEMA.

And after Odinga - death - Luos will be emancipated from Odinga slavery lasting nearly 80yrs now.

Why do you want to rewrite history? In 2002 Raila handed the presidency to Kibaki after killing KANU. I remember hearing the word njamba for the first time. It was used by Kikuyu peasants in praise of Raila. Kibaki made political mistakes thereafter and it cost him the 2007 election. He was declared president, but he lost the country.
Kibaki in 2003 banked on his Mt Kenya base instead of reaching out to the rest of Kenya that had elected him. The new boys in town around him Chris Murungaru and Kiraitu Murungi thought they did not need the rest of the Kenyans. Remember Chris Murungaru's words before the 2005 referedum, "we have the numbers"? Raila as minister of Roads was even banished at national events to a backseat.

Challenging Kibaki's regime was legit and in brandmarking it as trying to overthrow it is a big joke on your part. Also recall Uhuru's time at the dock at the Hague when he was asked for Raila's involvment in their ICC matters and he had nothing to say. At no time did any of the defending lawyers try to implicate the ICC cases with Raila. In fact the irony of the whole thing, Uhuru and Ruto were actually in different camps at the ICC.

Mt Kenya had no problem with Raila, actually in 92 when Kibera was still inhabited by Mt Kenya migrants majority voted for him.
Mt Kenya started started disliking him because he wanted to overthrow Kibaki as early as from first week of Kibakis presidency the 2007 happened when he ran a camapign of 41 vs 1  and Kabila adui theme. The hague happened where he was advocating for Uhuru and Ruto to be hanged where as he was the main culprit.

Ruto has been blacklisted,  He is not getting the presidency even if he is the only one left standing.  The presidency of Kenya is NOT decided at the ballot but even if it were, Ruto does not have the numbers.  Msando was not killed for sport and the server remains closed for a reason.  Who is Ruto to overcome what Jaramogi and Raila could not. Have a good day day-dreamers.

This is what Gatheca has intoxicated you with,I bet he would be delighted by this school of thought. So who are those people that decide elections?
We are not living the days of Joseph Stalin the originator of that school of thought.

When they were busy manipulating election results in 2013 and 2017, they thought it will always work for them. Now things are being turned around and the system they set up is starting to swallow its own children. I wondered why Chebukati na wakora wake are still sitting pretty even after the debacle of 2017 and the exposed procurement scandals at IEBC. Now I know why. They are needed in 2022.

He is in Dubai recovering from a "Nerve foot surgery". This surgery typically takes one hour to perform, and an extra one hour to recover. Raila has been advised to skype a press conference. He has recovered by now from nerve decompression.

He is In Dubai. Unfortunately the way things are going he might not make 2022 in good health hence cutting deals with the addict who himself is not in good health. I think Stopping Ruto is impossible Higher forces are for Ruto mengine yote ni vanity.
Baba I had started liking him he has done alot for Kenya, I blame the GEMA indoctrination that made us start hating him as kids.

Raila progress is slow. Positive but slow. He was to have skyped press conferences last week but  he's truly sick. And forget about "minor back surgery..." or "foot surgery.." and "nerve decompression.." Fairly tales...

Wishing him all the best.

The problem with Kenyan sources is the tendency to start believing their own propaganda.  Then they pull stories from their ass depending on their disposition.  Being a reliable source is tedious work that most of these jokers are not cut out for.

My father while very sick was able to do that. There is nothing showing Jakom is back healthy. It probable he is on adult diapers after prostrate surgery.

The right way to handle Raila health information was as per the letter released by ODM but then declared fake. That government spokesman would be giving updates. The health of Raila as a senior politician and with a huge following is even a national security issue. But the govt decided to be mute. And Raila's office have been lying. And lying more.
The clip doing rounds is misleading. It is pure deliberate miscommunication. And there is no need for that! What for!?  And the mainline media knowingly and deliberately publishes misleading/outright lies...

By pointing out that one is labelled as one who wishes Raila ill. Those misleading the public are even doing great disservice.   If anything was to happen to Raila, it would be very difficult for government to calm his supporters and sympathisers and the general public. Indeed government would be blamed or be accused of something sinister...

Prostrate surgery is not a death announcement. Many men have survived it and have even been able to sire kids after it.
You need more luck in wishing this man's death.
