Good riddance. I think he may have hidden in a property behind safari park in the 1990s. We went to look at property in that area. We just wanted to see the design of it. The engineer that was giving us the tour tried to get us into one of the palatial homes but the guards said they were under instructions not to let him or anyone else without a prior appointment in. The engineer later told us that there was a Rwandan hiding there and he was high up in Hutu govt. I know for sure Moi used to give passage to deposed leaders. Said Barre and Mengistu I think were both hosted at Safari Park. I think for Said Barre, Kenya was paying about 900K a week to host his entourage of the fleeing somali govt officials and presidential guards.

He is 84 years so it is going to be a quick trial and then he will be dead in a few years. How as he paying his bills? Was he on welfare? How did manage to acquire a new identity?

It easy to hide in a developed world because of privacy laws. It appears the man probably been shuffling btw Belgium and France. It also probable the French have been hidding him - after Kagame diplomatic tiff with them.

These hutus were just bad people. They really fucked up by planning that Genocide. I think they meant it as a threat to counter RPF but they took it too far

You need to visit western uganda, rwanda, burundi and even part of eastern congo to underand how Tutsi have sat on Hutus/Ankoles. They did genocide in 1950s. And they will do it again unless the feudal system enacted by Tutsi/Hima is abolished. The Banyamulenge (Tutsi) were been killed this year in Congo.

I think France and Belgium knew of his presence but didn't want to arrest him until it was convenient for them. How does a high profile man like that get into the country and not be traced.

Very likely. The French have no time for Kagame and have indicted his people for their role in genocide. The Belgium who were the colonizer are hated in Rwanda current gov. No Belgian I think is allowed to visit Rwanda. So both must have kept Felicien - probably CIA found out and outed him.

It's Feudal. In every village - Tutsi own like 90% of the land - some of best land -keeping cows large than Maasai herds- and below in valleys - are populous Hutus - cultivating bananas.  So you can imagine every village is like that...and these are physically different people.

Belgium Religious right helped in protecting Hutus. They lobbied hard and created a lot of disinformation on what was happening before Genocide. That why security council and other nations were ill informed on what was going on Rwanda. Actually the Hutu govt had these Belgians as advisors in key organs of the government

So who owned the land before? If the Tutsis have owned the land since 1700s then it Hutus fault for not migrating to Congo or elsewhere to look for land

They sorted of accepted the situation - but with democracy - everything changes - because the populous Hutus were now able to change the feudal system - at least politically - and likes of Felicien could now become rich - something that was not there before. And Tutsi couldn't bribe them with wives and cows - and make them Tutsi like before - where they'd promote some Hutus to Tutsi. The new Hutu elite started Hutu nationalism.

Hutu then just need to get in power and nationalize the land. That would be the way to do it

Personally I hope Kagame finds someone else to that keeps murdering Hutus elite. They deserve nothing but subjugation and oppression. They are animals that need to be rewired

When you get there you'll find yourselves sympathizing with Hutus.

Reading Lived to Tell Book. I think in some areas, Hutu and Tutsis have intermarried so much that you cannot tell them apart. That the impression I got from the Tusti woman that wrote that book. I will ask my cousin, he lives in Rwanda. He works for the major Telcom company there.

There is no way he would have hid all those years without the french knowing, the slimy french bastards are responsible. All people that accused kenya for hiding him including obama should apologize.
Btw hutus are like merus when it comes to land tenure system and their use of the panga for all farming activities.
