It's Feudal. In every village - Tutsi own like 90% of the land - some of best land -keeping cows large than Maasai herds- and below in valleys - are populous Hutus - cultivating bananas.  So you can imagine every village is like that...and these are physically different people.
I beg to disagree punda its not that extreme

Never been anywhere there, its all what i read i tend to think resentment of tutsi is more like what we have with kikuyu here in kenya never thought it was that point they own 90% of land really?

Then you're just blabbing. Drive from kenya to kigali. As you as you get to Banyankole land -just near Mbarara - you'll see European style old centuries feudal system. The Tutsi are very rich. I don't think there is a tribe richer than them in East Africa (kikuyus are shadow). Their land is more like you have in central or meru - except in every village - all you see is very beautiful pasture land covering 90% of the village - with houses up in mountains - lots of beautiful cows  - with somali looking people- and in the fridges are Hutus - cramped together in plots of land. And its not like tribes you have in kenya where each tribe has their land - their poor and richer - it feudal system where Tutsi sit on Hutu in every village. Every village the tutsi literally sit on Hutus. They have 90% of the land. They live in top of the hill. They are tall. It's pretty shocking. Hutus and Ankoles are short, live in valleys and are poor. The contrast is unnerving.

And where Tutsi or Hima or Banyamulenge farm - they plant like 30 acres of bananas :) :). Those guys are very richer in rural African sense. But they like cattle - and are not traditional like maasai - and keep larger healthier herds.

You think 1M people can be easily murdered. Hutus and Tutsi live together. In every village - up the mountain lives the Tutsi with large herds of cattle and 90% of the land. At bottom lives the Hutus with small plots cultivating crops. The tribes are more like rich versus poor in Kiambu...except it's every village.

Their land is highlands on steroids...so just imagine in Meru...every village...lives Tutsi occupying it ..keeping large herds of cattle...and at the very bottom...lives the Hutus planting arrow roots, bananas, cassavas.

Repeat that from western Uganda to Burundi and Eastern Congo.

Hutus is being sat on economically, physically, and name it. It like European white highlands with African reserves at the fridges of the land...providing labor.

I knew it was an economic problem but what you telling me is very new and unbelievable i need to ask people who have lived in rwanda to believe. How come its not in the public domain?

Western Uganda towards Rwanda (Banyakole, Bachinga), Rwanda, Burundi and parts of Eastern Congo. Tutsi, Hima, Banyamulenge - are same people - look cushitic or maasai like - and keep lots of cows - with very beautiful girls - tall and elegant people. And at the bottom of every village lies the Hutus - more like a slave. Museveni is a Hima...the wife is Tutsi...but anyway they are the same people.

Banyakole is two tribes - Hima (tutsi) - like Museveni - and th Iru - like Hutus - and the same is repeated in next tribe - Bachinga (where Bessigye belongs). So Banyakole (ankole) - is Bahima and Bairu. Exact copy of Hutu and Tutsi.

The real fight is a land struggle - kill the Tutsi so you can occupy their land. Otherwise Tutsi and Hutus have sort of accepted their destination in life.

So some Hutus have succeeded this way - but Tutsi have mostly come back and taken back their land.

Btw when you see museveni herds - most himas have such similar ranch and herd of cattle - it normal life of Tutsi or Hima or Banyamulenge. It not special because he is president.

So they consume alot of meat like our masaai. I bet tutsi then is just an offshoot of masaai that lost their language and adopted the bantu kinyarwanda of the hutu

Maasai basically consume goats and sheeps - but cows nope (special occasion). The Tutsi and related consume milk - lots of milk - they make milk ghee, cheese, name it. They sell milk to Hutus and buy the bananas ...but I see some are growing them..now in large scale. Their are like modern day maasai or Kalenjin - cross btw Nilotes and Cushites.

So after kagame hutus will just be back its hard to keep them away. Same case as what happens in RV where kikuyus rule but without peace. Its terrible living in a place you and your family can never ve accepted and risk of being murdered is ever present

Yes. Moi genius idea was for Burundi and Rwanda to belong to either. That will stop massacre. Hutus can go to Burundi - and Tutsi can move back to Rwanda. Kagame solution is to erase and criminalize tribes....and move the economy from land to modern urban life. That will work. Because land is pretty useless in modern life. This is model Europe used...they shifted the poor to urban areas..and left land for feudal kings and chiefs. Once you get used to urban life - you don't want stressful life of rural areas. Kagame may succeeded if he lives 100yrs ;)

So is Museveni more inclined to side with Tutsis or Hutus? I have a friend who is Buganda. This woman hates Museveni. She is in her 40s and is an engineer but she says that Banyakole idiot will have to go to his cows dead or alive. What is the attitude in Uganda about M7?

Museveni is a Tutsi...why would he side with Hutus. His mother is Tutsi and his step-father is Hima. His real father is Tutsi. Him and Rwandese Tutsi including Kagame launched the rebel movements.
