What happens when they don't have assets to liquidate? Most of their operating profit comes from their coca cola bottling company the rest sidian( doing badly) and real estate (two rivers) strugging with limited traffic and occupancy. This is a company to short.

They don't have capital to invest in LAMU coal power generation plant. Its one of the reason why the project has stalled. Also they were given a geothermal site which they haven't invested in power generation unlike the devki tycoon who bought off Gideon Moi.

Centum success is a fluke - the real estate balloon - like SA Napster which bought a big Tencent stake and struck gold. Unlike Tencent Mworia's golden goose is dying as the real estste bubble blows up. However I think green energy is a good investment - as Kenya looks up with Big 4 Agenda. That and agribusiness are good areas to invest.

Centum is surprisingly not a major holder of Safcom, Equity, EABL and such stocks which are high performance bluechips. Time for Mr Mworia to earn his stripes.

Musk only gets paid for when key milestones are met - 100B+ market cap, 65B+ revenues etc. This is a good deal for shareholders unlike Mworia the empty coat.

Smh. All Tesla needs is a brand - the cult of Musk worshippers is ordering cars and semi trucks 2years in advance - what does production have to do with it? With the Gigafactories & automation - the robot assembly lines - the cult will turn into revenues and suddenly Tesla will have a chunk of the auto market. That's superhard without a revolution like computers or the internet.

Just look at the Musk performance targets: why does the market buy that? Why can't Daimler or GM copy it? Simple: their bulky old-school factories are too entrenched to overhaul without a ready fandom like the Tesla brand. So the 50% EV marketshare Tesla holds now.. will grow into a big overall marketshare as everyone retires gasoline cars, heating and all grids. Tesla is all over the future.

I saw that. The stunt was many hours late. If he imagines that recying the Snapchat thing would drive FaceBook to Oblivion he is mistaken. Facebook is a moneymaker and is dearly beloved, with little to no equals. It's going to be here for a long time

So centum apparently unloading equity in financial sector to double down on sidian bank https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/news/Centum-pumps-Sh1-1-billion-into-Sidian-Bank/539546-4359280-34wlqx/index.html . A third tier bank that's struggling even to attract deposits as depositors shift to more stable banks. Also hoping that interest rate spread cap is scrapped soon. Bottomline centum needs a real cash flow spigot.
