Jubilee has helped Tiaty like the rest of the country. I don't think Jubilee are interested in dicing the country into enclaves based on loyalty. Tiaty kids are going to school free like others, their women giving birth for free, they are getting electricity like everyone else, they are getting roads like everyone else, they are getting laptops like everyone else, etc. It not Jubilee faulty that Tiaty is starting from rock bottom while your people are slighty better.
What Jubilee has done for Tiaty that they didn't do for your area is to send KDF and police to pacify and stop cattle rustling. Kamama protested but soon realized Jubilee were serious. Now that place is peaceful..turkana, tugen, samburu and guys in Bogoria are thankful..because those Asman Kamama cattle thugs have been stopped in their tracks...they had wrecked havoc and displaced several villages in 3 or 4 counties.
That is leadership. Strong even handed leadership that Jubilee represent.
Tiaty and North rift counties of Turkana, Pokot and Baringo wealth is underground. You can laugh at them because their arid land has nothing above ground but when they start minning oil/diamond/gold - like the middle east desert - their fortunes will changes - and they will zoom past your village matope houses in one single generation.
As you speak Jubilee is going to be moving 4,000 barrels Oil from Turkana per day next year and prospecting is moving to Elgeyo Markwet and Baringo. You might want to stop deriding those people now.
It can't be that silly when despite CDF and there still exists such a level of despicable public service. What has this guy been doing with all the money?
He is in Jubilee so he doesn't have to "join Jubilee for development" like the rest of us, does he? I would have thought Jubilee areas where the MPs have long joined Jubilee would be a shinning example for Mung'aro and Namwamba to point at and tell the rest of us to follow suit? As it happens, joining Jubilee or being a life member like Asman Kamama does not bring hospitals close to the people nor build bridges.
We are not in Jubilee in but we hardly see anything close to the poverty in Tiaty or the band roads in Elgeyo Marakwet where even the local Senator gets stuck on the road when he can't fly his Tax paid chopper. Do we?
When is the digital age going to reach these people? Or shall they get electricity in their hovels - electricity paid for by the World Bank but which which Jubilee claims to be dishing out amid bribing politicians?
Is the mass bribery of MPs part of "Development"? Or holding conferences at state house?
