If I am that useless - why are you lithering your post with personal attacks.
Ruto obviously should not betray GEMA.

But he obviously should not sit pretty considering he squeezed through last election.
He has to handshake certain areas of Azimio - without handshaking Raila or Kalonzo or uhuru or those guys
They bring him not value. If they had value - why not handshake them. For now they overleveraging their positions.

Gachagua has to learn to play national politics.
He is very green in politics. Just mere MP who was promoted quickly.
He needs to learn how to endear himself to Mt kenya without being so tribal.

As for Ruto in 2022 - I advise him to work with scenario; where 50% of GEMA dont support him; as the most PLAUSIBLE scenario;

The "Moi was a nationalist" narrative doesn't make sense. Half the civil service, ambassadors, army, DCs, cops, etc were Kalenjin. Biwott was de facto prime minister.

Only the cabinet and Kanu NEC were a national face.

Why did Kibaki lose? Fate more than tribalism or political incompetence

1. Road accident, stroke crippled him in his 70s. He was like senile Jomo in his 80s and Kiraitu, Muthaura, Murungaru, Michuki ran the government.
2. Key Kibaki lieutenants Kijana Wamalwa and Karisa Maitha died. This lost Coast and Western easy to Raila. After this Raila only needed to incite ENTITLED KALENJIN who had been refactored out of their largesse after 24 years of Moi.

Kikuyu today are not any different from Kalenjin after Moi.

By the way RV Pundit, Kibaki in 2007 was more popular than Ruto in 2024.
