Bado he is waiting for things to be done for him bwana.
See. Moi picked him from UON to succeed his late father prolly coz of teh family relations, elected unopposed and straight to cabinet. By '93 he was given Finance minister, kulad from Goldenberg but Mzee protected him. By 2001 he was complaining to Moi that Jirongo is stressing him so much about the Kanu National vice-chairmanship. Moi told Jirongo to tone down his contest and allow Mudvd to be one of the 8 Kanu national vice-chairs representing Western province. He then later rebelled kidogo on Mzee to join the Raila/Saitoti/Kalonso Rainbow alliance, but Mzee pulled a few strings with KRA and judiciary and Mudvd ran straight back home. Mzee gave him the vacant Vice President's post which Saitoti had left to go join Raila at Rainbow. Mudvd still lost the Sabatia seat in the 2002 elections and by 2004 the KRA was on his neck kabisa (ask him what happened to his Mitchell Cotts companies hehehe) on the outstanding ushuru he had enjoyed not paying during Mzee's regime.
Raila picked him from oblivion, helped him back into politics throug the Orange campaigns on the 2005 referendum, helped him get back his Sabatia seat in 2007 and even appointed him ODM deputy Party leader when RVs were saying it should be WSR, and in the nusu mkate govt Raila got him the Local Govt ministry which was a powerful post, and to top it all chose him the Deputy PM under the Nara arrangements.
Now, Obako snatched him from Raila, gave him the readymade UDF party, and even promised him Uhunye would give it up for him. Even as Uhunye backstabbed him and called him a mashetani, Obako still funded his campaign and even gave him a readymade runningmate Kioni who did not even vote for him! Kumbe Mudvd was not even the recognized Party Leader in the party books, maybe Obako was also to have sorted all this out for him???
Yaani this guy has been having things done for him. This is the perfect example of a royal big fat spoon fed burger boy!
The only thing he ever did on his own was to decline the Kanu nomination into Parliament in 2003. Hiyo tu!
So, now what happens to his coalition with Man Gidi's Kanu?
