First time he is speaking about Ruto in the media. Apart from looting he might  genuine about bringing  people together However Raila wanted to take advantage of that and Catapult his chances in 2022 elections . Ruto could see through that having experiemced the same in 2002 and 2007 elections.

It's going to get nasty as they realize Ruto is unassailable. For now, Ruto should ignore him. But it is obvious they will throw the kitchen sink in GEMA. But it too late...Ruto has both Non-GEMA and GEMA.

Back i  2018 when news broke out about hamdshake. We concluded we leave Uhuru concetrate on his legacy but we continue with the Journey of making Ruto President come 2022. We are almost there.

Handshake was a deal , whatever agreement was there was between Uhuru amd Raila he didnt involve Ruto in the dicussions, Ruto doesnt even know what the deal was.

Uhuru still thinks we are in 90s and early 2000s where you cut deals in boardroom then talk another language to the media and public gallery.
We have seen what rhe deal was all about . Edge Ruto out of Govt , loot and rule peacefully. That has been done with high precision. Ruto even having  been the reason why Uhuru became President has taken the humiliation with stride he let Uhuru be. Uhuru and his cronies have looted Kenya like no other administration. feom 2017 -2022.

Tellingly also is Uhuru was not keen about BBI . Seems it was not part of the deal. If he was keen just like he reinstated Raila perks and allocated development money and projects in Nyanza  with vigour he would have been very keen with BBI from the word go.

Raila , Kalonzo and Wetangula should now leave Uhuru let him finish his job and retire. Their focus now should be about 2022 , they neee to go and campaign direct to the people. Ruto should keep reminding this trio to let the president concetrate on his duties. Ruto should also avoid a duel with Uhuru he has managed  since 2018 . He has the tempo .

Funny enough why Uhuru and Raila feel the BBI losses were instigated by Ruto. Where as its Martha Karua , Havi etc
Uhuru even is not shy of calling himself ans Raila elite in the interview. Kweli Money and power can corrupt the mind.

I still don't understand the Uhuru game plan. If he really wanted BBI - why all the time-wasting and all the errors? If he really wants Raila - why all OKA.all weakening of Raila. If he really hates Ruto - then he is incompetent.

For now - the strategy I see - is they will go hard on Ruto in Mt kenya - the problem of course the holle pollei want nothing to do with that - they are in hustler nation. They will try to demonize Ruto like they did Raila...they will wake up demons of PEV and opens the buried wounds. They will accuse Ruto of all crimes..imaginable.

Now the more the push Kikuyu first agenda in Mt kenya - the more Ruto wins Non-GEMA - and the more Raila loses. This seem to be happening if we can take opinion poll from the Star..with heavy dose of salt.

This I believe is their problem. The more they push Kikuyu agenda - the more places like Coast embraces Ruto. This how the beast is - Raila is cheering - and in-process losing Non-GEMA.

Ruto has managed to sit at the middle of the see-saw - he has half GEMA and half non-gema - you move the pendulum in one end - he gains in the other hand - without losing much. Very smart politics.

Bottom-up Hustler Nation Win-Win pure political genius. Elections in Kenya previously have been to run Pro-Gema or Anti-Gema platform - it has been hard to please both constituencies at once.

It is why Ruto has almost 30 percent lead on Raila whichever opinion poll you take - Twitter or MOAS or Star - he has huge base - of both gema and non-gema.

Uhurus game plan simple and clear. Loot , Rule peacefully and safeguard the loot.
He has one more year to go , just like a long race this is the last lap where he needs to sprint. Basically where the most looting will take place.
For that he needs to keep Raila happy and busy hence all these meetings and also sending him as his representative  to Zambia and other missions.

He also does not have qualms with Ruto .He has not faught Ruto directly or politically in Mt Kenya nor has he campaigned against him directly in Mt Kenya . That says alot.

Now the ball should be with 2022 contenders and Ruto seems to have understood this early and hit the road early to endear himself to Mt Kenya, where as Raila and OKA mark timed im he hopes Uhuru will do it for them .

Bottom line Uhuru is playing everyone bluff , from the masses to the politicians. Uhuru doesnt evem care about legacy . He cares about making money. Money he has made now its safeguarding it. For him whoever comes in 2022 he is game. However for people around him it matters Ruto not getting Presidency for they feel he might decide to revenge for how they mistreated him.

Uhuru cronies in Govt and St Marys boys will go all out to stop a Ruto Presidency even instigating violence . It wont work because simply they are beauracrats and not politicians. Politics is all about emotions and Ruto has captured emotions of majority of Kenyans.

Hii in ujinga for him to claim that he is bringing people together while at the same time isolating Ruto. Two important factors about his unity error - He doesn't understand that Ruto's followers form a very major block, close a half of the country; if you isolate Ruto and bring together the other leaders, your effort's net effect is zero. Second and most foolish is the justification of promoting ODM by obliterating JB...This Mf will go down to history as a serious Mf fool. Either it's pombe or amerogwa na Rao...hii ni wazimu

Yes that my suspicion. He is playing a game with lots of hidden card. His actions do not make sense. That is why his body language is terrible.

Thank goodness Ruto has really matured and has refused to engage in this kind of ujinga that Uhuru is inviting him. Otherwise, if everyone deteriorates to the Uhuru level - soon we will be calling for international mediation.

All we need is for iebc, police and judiciary to rise above ujinga like they have done in BBI.

And we can safely navigate 2022.

Uhuru is having health challenges that are forcing him to wnat to live a legacy that secures his place as a great leader. He doesn't trust ruto and kalenjins to be fair once they take power. He knows he has lost the vote but he will stay on message so that history can judge him fairly. Ruto supporters have been adequately warned it is up to them to be ready for the consequences of ruto presidency. It is unfortunate that years of alcohol abuse and smoking will end uhurus life at the prime of his life.

His best legacy now is to manage transition by assisting IEBC conduct free, fair and credible election otherwise he may see all he has done undone. Shauri yake. If he continue listening to walevi - he will destroy the legacy of Jubilee 1.0.

Noway you nailed it. Uhuru game plan is to loot and secure his loot. He has no qualms with Ruto but just playing to the gallery. He is acting more like Trump causing all kinds of controversy but knows once he is out of presidency no one will bother him.
