Ndii should have gone a bit slow on that lady. She was not fully prepared for the interview and she must have thought her interview partner would be the level of Aden Nduale or Mike Sonko.

Let me help Pundit to stop LYING about or manifesto which he has NOT read:

okwara interview was better
-
I just watched the entire Ndii interview and do not understand what Pundit was talking about. The only problem was that the answers Ndii was giving were way over Kiguta's level of understanding and that infuriated her. I blame this on the Network for pitting Kiguta against someone way over her class. Also, Kiguta did not prepare for the answers Ndii was giving and this took her out of her game plan and she became visibly frustrated and angry. She should have been angry with her the level of preparation instead of snipping at Ndii who tried very hard to simplify his answers to accommodate her level of understanding.

A much better interview and very enlighting. I am so glad he was able to clearly articulate the fundamental ideological differences between the two parties and their followers. The ideological arguments go back to the Kenyattaa/Jaramogi days. Building a nation as only measured by economics and that which focuses on democracy, equality, dignity and unity of the nation. When Kenyattaa realized that he was losing this argument to the likes of Jaramogi, JM etc., he found a way to tribalize it by making it a kikuyu/luo argument rather than ideological. The kikuyus took the kiapo to support Kenyatta and the tribal nation was born. I am really praying for this country that NASA wins so that we can go back to the drawing table and fundamentally change the political direction of this country by properly defining these ideological differences. If the mask of tribalism that Kenyattaa placed on them is removed then the NASA argument will win.

My take is that both Okwara and Kiguta found themselves in the deep end - going by the questions and comments (alone!!!) they give on the interview.
However while Okwara was able to move on and veer over her ignorance, Kiguta got mad - visibly so and even tried to remind David who was boss. Why the difference?
Kiguta had an agenda. She came armed with fake documents and cheating notes prepared for a tendentious interview. Ndii informed her as early as possible that she was using the wrong document. But as you can see she continues to quote from the same document ignoring the correction. It was a most egregious act on her part.
Okwaro starts by showing she had made some preparations. She asks Ndii to introduce the multiple documents - thus avoiding the shame of citing the wrong document.
I still do not understand why Anne continued using the cheating notes to ask questions.
On the answers she was given, I thought after being reminded three times that the NASA manifesto was based on the implementation of the constitution she would learn and adapt. Instead she goes ahead to ask the NIS question on EJK - whether NASA will disband the killer unit or whether they will be allowed to continue killing Kenyans. How else did she expect to be answered?
Ndii again told her the constitution was very clear on the matter. She interjected - which part and was informed the Bill of Rights! Still the woman had locked her brain for knowledge. She demanded to know what NASA would do!
My take is that Kiguta's arrogance and her extreme loyalty to Jubilee influenced her actions to the extent of damaging her. I think she should declare her interests and recuse herself from these interviews.
I wondered if Ndii's constant reference to "conflict of interests" hit her several times because social media has been urging her to recuse herself from these interviews based on her being the wife of Jomo Gecaga - Uhuru Kenyatta's nephew and Personal Assistant.
-
Ann was handed game plan which called upon her to KO a boxer clearly above her punching weight. It failed miserably and she got angry because of her inability to execute the plan handed over to her. She is too married to Jubilee to be given such interviews. I am glad Mdvd refused to come and Prof. Ndii came instead.

I think NASA Counter Intelligence has improved tremendously. They were made aware of the plot to humiliate Mudavadi and though they would have failed, it was decided to disorganize them by sending Ndii without notice.
They are dazed! I heard from some who tried to pin all manner of accusations - Pundit style - on Ndii from sexism to harassment to intellectual arrogance.

What a bimbo....Baghdad Bob need to go slow on the pipe or the local brew that he is imbibing. Bure kabisa

I think Yvonne can absorb a shock and move on.
Notice the point where she wants to talk education and in her preamble she stumbles by suggesting that if more kids enrol it would bring down the quality. :D :D
I don't think she will be repeating that anytime soon. Dr. Ndii corrected her immediately. She tries to brush it aside but he insists. "The idea that some kids would get quality education if others are out of school..." hits her like a thousand wasps but she absorbs it.
So those trying to babysit Anne Kiguta should compare and weigh how Ndii practically wore double soft gloves to Citizen and took them off when he entered KTN

You NASA guys amaze me! Okwara & Kiguta surely are not suppose to take a crash course on economics before interviewing the geeky Dr Ndii. It was upon Dr Ndoom to dump it down - the next interview Kaguta did will probably be with Gay Pastor or Reptilian proffesor. It is upon the geeky Dr Ndoom to realize TV has it's audience - people who can think on their feet and really dump it down ( see how WSR owns Kiguta she nearly get orgasm everytime WSR goes there).
Dr Ndoom was talking to average kenyans who tuned in to TV - my dad or your mum - and if he cannot explain complex stuff using simple plain English - then he is a big fool. He should continue writing articles nobody can quickly ask questions.
You see this Dr Ndoom bimbo (yeah - Kiguta owned him) rush to the TV and tried to sound intelligent & turned the debate into economic theory class instead of prime TV time to explain NASA manifesto - when Uhuru invited him to face Dr Kamau Thugge (PHD John Hopkins) the PS of finance who is in charge of Eurobond he failed to go there. ..because Dr Thugge surely would have owned him
When Univeristy of Nairobi invited him to face fellow economists on Eurobond/SGR - he was MIAs. Now he wants to lecture Kaguta on economics like she care..she is a TV Journalist.
Now he turns up on two national TV and make an arse of NASA manifesto. People can only conclude that NASA has no manifesto. Dr Ndii has termed NASA a policy document too complicated to be understood by mere mortal...even MaDVD bailed out without caring to inform Dr Ndoom or Citizen...he simply cannot understand what crap Dr Ndoom has come up.
Maybe Dr Ndii should have NASA "policy document" published in Harvard Review and it's can bee critigue and peer- reviewed by PHD geeks - not mere TV Journos.
Kiguta and Citizen were right to end that charade - esp when MaDVD just failed to turn up leaving the station with a geeky fool who didn't realize he needed to dump it down.
-
Actually you get it wrong. People are tired of politicians spinning these things and they needed an expert like Ndii to explain it. You cannot reduce the technical stuff Ndii was talking about without losing its meaning and a lot of people appreciate that. I understood it and I believe a lot of Kenyans did. Ann was capable of understanding it if she listened and kept her mind open but she was too busy thinking of the "gotcha" question. Regardless of the hostile environment with Ann, Ndii managed to get his point across. I think Ann was prepared to embarrass mdvd with the corruption questions and was thrown off her game plan when Ndii appeared instead.

The let have a debate of equals. Ask Citizen to call Jubilee eminent Economic Profs. I tell you PS of Finance Dr Kamau Thugge is no joke. He has indicated severally he is ready to face Dr Ndoom. Let them go to UON or any ivory tower and debate there. Prime Time TV is better used elsewhere.
Dr Ndoom had the same issues with Okwara. He went with boorish economic theory nobody is interested.
Once you lose election - you can start from here - you lost the 1% who are non-tribal everytime you present Dr Ndoom.
Next we will have PORK & DPORK debate where UhuRuto will clearly own Raila & Kalonzo - and then poor journalists will be blamed.

This interview has generated a lot of interest and is being discussed everywhere albeit with partisan eyes. Even if there is a debate between Ndii and Thugge, at the end of the debate we will only get a partisan score card by those who already taken sides on these manenos.

The debate is about Dr Ndoom misbehaving in national TV - not about NASA manifesto. Yeah the guys has some record for attention seeking a.holism - just a day before - he had predicted bloodshed if Uhuru rigged again (like he had rigged ever).
The more I see NASA - the more I and many Jubilee are fired to vote to prevent a disaster from happening.

Pundit is peddling his usual LIES. Ndii spoke of violence one and half years ago. He reproduced the article in a new tweet pointing out that the issues he raised a year and half ago remain unaddressed as we huttle towards elections!
The jubilee media looking for proof of NASA violence and incitement seized on it. The Raila Kajiado incitement did not catch on when the fools realized we weren't making any effort to discount it as vigorously as we could. So this one looked promising! Until the fools realized that the story is old was ignored when published and The European Union was saying the same.
For me I see nothing wrong. I want more NASA people to publicly state their willingness to resort to violence in event of rigging. We fear no evil

he's slowly replacing Njamlik and some of his crazy handles.
A man like Ndii you reason with him and counter his arguments. Giving him a nickname as if it'll matter to the common riffraff who don't even understand why there should be a manifesto reflects more on you than Ndii. If what he write got more elasticity than your brain accept it!
Anyway like I wrote elsewhere Jubilee campaign is imploding

Soon people will understand why I call RV pundit Baghdad Bob it's because of this kind nonsense here you have an Internet yahoo thinking he is smarter than Dr. Ndii.....what's is so complicated about what Dr. Ndii said?
1. Zero tolerance to corruption means you do not tolerate corruption if you are finger with matter corruption the party document on conduct and behavior should have you resign while the legal part take its course. Why this has failed because of uhuru and executive meddling to protect their interest and their friends
2. Why institutions are failing, due to conflict of interest he gave a good example of Brookside and KCC
3. Extrajudicial killing he explained this is a human right issue fully addressed by the constitution
4. Debt he explained uhuru is 4 trillion in debt. The bus is already in a ditch courtesy of uhuru insatiable appetite to syndicated loans.
Etc etc like Ndii said this is not rocket science
-
Ourutu brand of politics has immunized themselves against charges of corruption by creating a moral equivalent "everybody is corrupt and therefore nobody has the moral authority to lecture anybody on corruption". Both Kiguta and Okwara believed this was a "slam dunk gotcha" question and therefore when Ndii gave them a more sophisticated answer they had not anticipated, Ms. Kiguta never recovered and became hostile unlike Ms. Okwara who handled the frustration a little better.

Km and Patel
Kenya got derailed. A simple train derailment lasts about a few minutes to a day or two depending on how much damage occurred to the line. In our case Kenya suffered a long term derailment from 1966 to 2010. For two years near normal service resumed until March 2013 when the forces of derailment hit us again and drove the new train into a ditch.
This election is about salvaging the train and putting it back on tracks.
The mistake made in 2010 was to leave the NIS intact. The NIS should have been disbanded and recreated in multiple units independent of each other. All the files they kept about ordinary people should have been opened for the public and their activities made public through a commission of inquiry.
A museum should have been created out of Nyayo house and Nyati House for ordinary citizens to see the extent of state terrorism against her own citizens.
As of now my view is that we do not need such an organization in Kenya. If we do it should concentrate on external intelligence gathering and prevention of espionage.
We must strengthen the regular police and the CID but heavily punish illegal activities by the police.
Countries like India and Pakistan have such institutions but do not engage in political espionage. They may obtain political information but unless there is a whiff of treason or espionage they avoid including this in the daily briefing given to the prime minister or chief of defense.
What pleasure does Uhuru get from listening to Raila speaking to his wife? Or his kids? He should ask himself if he would be comfortable his own conversations with members of his family being taped to entertain Raila. This must change. No change can take place while the NIS is intact.
-
This is based on what. Maybe the Koran that is suppose to be read in Arabic otherwise the meaning is lost? This is nonsense - the manifesto like constitution ought to be written in plain simple language - it a contract btw GOK and it's citizen - if you cannot explain it in plain simple english - then it probably is no good. The economist or the lawyers will know how to translate that into actionable plans.
What NASA did is the reverse...they have given a concoction even Raila himself has a problem explaining.
Indeed. If he tried to speak in plainer language it would have been insulting to her and the audience. She looked like someone forced her to be there.

So apparently it wasn't Anna Kiguta fault but NASA has two manifesto - Dr Ndii complicated concoction and Jimmy Wanjigi list of tenders/projects.

Ndii let out a lot in that article; conflict in NASA, he admits the parallel manifesto exists and so forth.
But I agree with you; he failed miserably in articulating economics in mwananichi terms.

Hey Pastor Vooke - I am really glad to see you here. At some point somebody said you had an accident in your subaru and had died :)

Hi Pundito,
No sir I'm still a live; I can assure you. Glad that this place is still around

First and foremost, there is only one manifesto. Second, I do not know which wanaichi are complaining that Ndii's explanations were above their head. How would you know? I bet you count those jubilee applause lines in centro and North Rift, like "Raila is the lord of poverty", as "articulating economics to Wanjiku".

Apart from free secondary which they copied from Jubilee - Mwananchi doesn't know what NASA stands for. Not that it's matter for many votes. It just matters for us here as "intellectual" and Dr Ndii did a poor job explaining it.

Please present a little evidence to back this claim which you are soon losing your head over.
Yes, Uhuru promised FREE Secondary education to start in 2015. He FAILED. Should NASA still wait for 2015? He then claimed he will start it by 2017, it is nowhere. He simply lied.
NASA is saying No More lies! The education will start on First September this year, not next or three years from now. How is that a copy cat?
NASA is soon outlining a comprehensive school feeding program. Will jubilee claim we stole that too? When Jubilee promised FREE milk to school children and simply ignored?
Watch out Patel's nickname for you may just stick - not least because you too are into nicknames.

I thought he explained it as simply as was possible. Any simpler and that would be insulting everybody's intelligence. The KTN interviewer was a little better - she seemed to understand his responses and even gave him a bit of a hard time. The Hussein guy holds some decent interviews. When they have people like Ndii coming on, they should hand it to Hussein.
In any case, the jubilant doesn't vote NASA because of this interview. So who really cares?
-
I watched it live and it didn't make sense to me. He was asked a simple quiz. Where is the manifesto? And he said what they had was a policy document. And then proceeded to deny manifesto that came from another wing of NASA. Kiguta really tried being diplomatic.
After spending 4yrs berating Jubilee - Dr Ndii would have done a better job demonstrating his infinite intelligence to NASA.

Please direct me to the exact spot where Kiguta lays evidence proving she got her manifesto from "another wing of NASA" or stop peddling lies. You now have zero credibility.
The information publicly available and which Kiguta has not denied despite being directly confronted with it is that she got the fake manifesto from the NIS via her husband - Jomo Gecaga.

Exactly, I do not know why Pundit is bursting his veins over an interview that will not change the tribal composition of the electorate on 8.8.17

Ndii burst their bubble. I think he was part of the group that prepped Anne Kiguta to go and mess up Mudavadi. Then NASA decided to send Ndii having itself learned that she had a fake manifesto.
If you watch, Ndii lets them run the fake manifesto about stadiums etc while silent. He then precludes discussions on the matter and kills gotcha questions by simply stating that whatever the just showed is NOT a NASA manifesto.
They have been smarting over it for days. The defeat was comprehensive when you consider how many men and women came togther to plan how to wreck NASA's manifesto on live TV!
So this morning the embarked on a process of claiming that NASA has multiple manifestos. That is why Pundit is asking you "which one". Again it shows their ignorance rather than ineptitude on NASA's side.
My advice was to let them run wild and then we shall set the record straight using the publicity they have established. Since they have denied NASA access, what better option than to drive them to give it to us willingly or we accuse them of sticky stuff!
They seem to have smelled a rat and have been going slow except the few greedy mongoloids they have in media houses.

He said she didn't have the right manifesto. He also said the manifesto had no implementation details. She kept asking about things that were not in the manifesto. He had to call her out on it. What else is he supposed to do?
I don't know Kiguta, but I still doubt that this is how she is when she is diplomatic. She had a very shabby attitude towards him. If that was a first date, anyone could tell it was also the last. I don't know how anyone cannot see that.

Kiguta is Jomo's baby Mama and considering that Jomo is Ouru's personal assistant and nephew, the interview should have handed to another person if this news organization was professional. Nailing NASA is very personal to her and therefore she threw professionalism through the window and did not hide her frustrations when her carefully planed "hit job" failed miserably.
Indeed. If he tried to speak in plainer language it would have been insulting to her and the audience. She looked like someone forced her to be there.
Hussein Mohamed is a more credible interviewer.

I saw that. She could not hide her biases. Too bad she was not equipped to put the guy in any bind.

Dr Ndii was dishonest. Today he admitted there was another manifesto developed by some folks in NASA. Kiguta the poor lady obviously doesn't ran a one woman show. The manifesto she had was of course was probably feed to her by the editor & guys in the studio. To cut the long story short.
1) NASA lied to Kiguta that MaDVD was coming to the show. They had no courtsey to even say why he bounced.
2) Dr Ndii & NASA intellectual developed a manifesto nobody can understand unless they have done Econ 101.
3) There is another manifesto out there that NASA has come out with - NASA faction?
The media is not suppose to bend over and make it easy for NASA - it's upon NASA to get it's act together - MADVD who wishes to become PM should at least send an apology 2) Ndii if he wishes to appear again should be courteous enough to admit there is some funny manifesto developed by some wing in NASA and 3) understands it not Kiguta business - his - to present the manifesto to the audience.
Again I watched this live..you can see my reaction as the interview progressed.
Dr Ndii was nothing but AN ARSEHOLE who tried to intimidate the poor lady.

You are litigating moot issues:
1) there is only one NASA manifesto. Raila has confirmed that.
2)Ann Kiguta should have recused herself from the interview because she is Jomo's baby mama and has a dog in this fight.
3)Mdvd, was being lured to kichinjo, NASA got wind from obviously very reliable sources and the rest is history
4) Jubliots conveniently feign ignorance in their assertion that NASA's manifesto is too difficult to understand, interestingly nobody else does.
5) Wikipedia: A manifesto is a published verbal declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer, be it an individual, group, political party or government.[1][2][3][4] A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out changes the author believes should be made. It often is political or artistic in nature, but may present an individual's life stance.

Pundit hates Ndii. It comes out in every post he makes about him. If there is a point, it is drowned out in the process. He used to swear by this guy. I don't think Ndii is infallible. Ndii is the kind of guy who will readily admit to you he knows nothing about rocket science or any of most things he obviously has limited knowledge of. But what he knows, he knows it like crazy.

Read this nonsense and wonder if this guy even went to five minutes of the interview! This is the second time he lies he has seen something and goes ahead to weigh in based on total ignorance. At least the last time he confessed that he had not read and did not care!
First Ndii explained three documents thoroughly. If I were in Jubilee I would get all the three, read them and then pin NASA down for any contradictions! The labor Party in UK had multiple documents and manifestos. Each had a purpose, region, issue etc. The Tories did the same under Cameron and walloped labor. There is such an inept Jubilee campaign that NASA can't lose this election even if Raila publicly withdrew his candidacy!
Dr Ndii & NASA intellectual developed a manifesto nobody can understand unless they have done Econ 101.
So why would Jubilee be complaining? Have they never heard that Napoleon cautioned against interrupting an erring foe? If NASA's manifesto is elitist and beyond comprehension, shouldn't Jubilee be celebrating and even printing more copies and dishing them out to "ordinary people" to ridicule NASA? This reminds me that Raila was supposed to be the candidate Uhuru would walk over and not campaign!
NASA lied to Kiguta that MaDVD was coming to the show. They had no courtesy to even say why he bounced.
Courtesy aside, NASA was coming to explain its manifesto. All questions prepared should have been personality-neutral, meaning anybody from NASA would answer. It was not a biography of Mudavadi. But I understand t^her frustration when the cheating notes you fed her complete with a fake Manifesto stolen from NASA by your agents backfired! No wonder your anger is still boiling over. We proved we are ahead of the NIS. Like I told you, nobody can seek to take government and be naive. And if you find yourself in government and you are naive, you know you're on your way out!
There is another manifesto out there that NASA has come out with - NASA faction?
Please don't report us to mama!

Like I said above, be kind and do not report us to mama.
MADVD who wishes to become PM should at least send an apology
[/i][/b] I tell you what, he will still be PMK and Gecaga's wife will not get an apology. NASA will issue new licenses to new media operators as well. There is a huge gap that has not been addressed. Plus a country like Kenya needs a wide editorial diversity.

David Ndii admitted there are two manifestos himself calling one a manifesto and another an implementation plan is face saving

Ann Kiguta and you jubiliots should start by acquinting yourself with the definition of a manifesto then this conversation would be much simpler. Right now its like explaining to a toddler that: this is a cow; this is a goat; and this is a hen, but the toddler keep referring to them all as cows no matter how many times you try to explain the difference.

Be concrete and clearly identify the "various points" so we have something concrete to discuss and not waste time on Muratina gossip
