Though it's a huge miscalculation on the part of Uhuru Kenyatta and his honchos. They needed to stay calm and not interrupt Raila Odinga as he made his most deadly mistake. But alas he has woken them up

Luos are very emotional. It is like they wear their emotions on the sleeves. Uhuru people are toying with them. Raila has come to believe that all the others supporters of his rely on emotions. Raila runs from one side of the country to the other campaigning year in year out and still comes short. I hope this time he doesnt go back to the streets. I would hate ro see his supporters dying again. Raila ends up being used by Babu owinos, Junet and orengos of this world as a political stepping stone. Luos need to check their emotions and be strategic. They are too ideological and emotional for politics

Really tragic for us that supported this idiot called raila. You  really put this in perspective. Raila is a conman, he is no more than a cult leader. I hate him for these misadventures.
My villagemate that worked at ministry of tourism during nara days told me how raila was impulsive that a minister coukd just call him to come to a conference and he would drop everything and do it.

They are stuck. BBI if parliament endorses; Uhuru will simply pick whatever doesn't require referendum according to AG - and ammend the katiba - and throw out the referendum to 2022 - because huge chunk of BBI is fillers.

So right now their best move forward is for either parliament or senate to reject - hence forcing a referendum.

It appears Raila wants a referendum he can run - so he can use it to galvanize for his 2022 bid. Uhuru coalition do not want Raila to outshine them in matters BBI.
