Kabogo stood up and told kibaki straight in his face ,He needs to Manup ans atop listening to His Kitchen Cabinet.
This coming Saturday someone ahould tell Uhuru in his face , BBI os going to fail because of his association with Raila, if he is serious about leaving a legacy he ahould go the multiple choice way.Once the contest is out then the people will start thinking rationally.
Raila thought that he would use it as a tactic aka 2005 to build a coalition for 2022. Ruto and majority of Kenyans saw it and calles it for what it was, secondly Most of Mt Kenyans have never forgotten that Uhuru sold KANU to Raila and he was one of the reasons of P.E.V. though he tried righting that mistake by giving finacial assistance to evacuate the victims at the height of the violence. He is falling to the same mistake by associating once again with Raila amd he should be told of the same.
Its known they will prevent the MK, Gachaguas , Ichungqas   Nyoro to attend and if they attend prevent them from speaking but someone should be ready to still the microphone and tell him straight in the face the path he has taken is a wrong one . Ruto did that in BBI 2 unveiling and Uhuru extensively changes the document . Thats the language  he understands

On December 30, Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata wrote an open letter to President Kenyatta warning him that BBI was facing 80 per cent opposition in Mt Kenya region and was bound to flop should it be subjected to a referendum.

But Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua immediately dismissed Mr Odinga as “a hard sell and a political problem in Mt Kenya,” even as nominated MP Maina Kamanda celebrated him as “visionary, well-meaning and the best bet for the region.”

Mr Gachagua said “the idea of Mr Odinga being our saviour is not only a silly thought, but the stuff that can make a great horror movie
.”

Even his offical advisor on matters law  says of the same

https://nation.africa/kenya/news/ag-backs-multiple-choice-referendum-3268902

Attorney-General Kihara Kariuki has rooted for multiple questions in one Bill in the planned referendum to amend the constitution through Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

In an advisory opinion to the Supreme Court in respect to a case filed by Nandi and Kericho county assemblies as well a Makueni county government, Mr Kihara said a Bill that may contain one matter or issue of amendment will present major difficulties.

“The implication for such an interpretation will be that in the event that the people wish to exercise their sovereignty directly to amend various matters in the Constitution, they would need separate bills for each of the matters/issues concerned,” Mr Kariuki said.

He added that each of the Bills will have to undergo its own process as required by the Constitution, thus collecting one millions signatures of each Bill and subjecting each of them to the county assemblies, separately, a move that would have serious economic and political costs.

Yes multiple choice for each of the concrete issues is way referendum are done. Unless you're overhauling the constitution.

Once they accept multiple choice - then we go to when is referendum best place.

And that will be together with 2022 elections. I see Uhuru gov has allocated 14.5B for IEBC in next year budget. I am not sure if that will be for general election or the referendum.

So we can go for 35% for counties - and reject women nominated mps - that will bloat Mps to 200.
