And herein lies the dichotomy and where you don'tmake sense. One would have to study flatulence to draw parallels as to where such warped thinking could possibly emanate from.... Lemme make it easy for those who avoided and still avoid science class like the plague...
Pundit a few short years ago used to be objective to the extend he was camp ODM and camp Raila on these cyber forums, simple reason being, he didn't have anyone of his
own in the mix vying for President. Then one of his
own bumped himself to the assembly line, never mind that the stock of the trade of this fellow since age 25 (as pundit himself says) included land-grabbing,
corruption, murder etc.
Pundit's innate tribal instincts exploded out of his skin, shamelessly casting off his cloth of objectivity in the process.
So now Luto being one of his
own, notwithstanding his vices, character and whatever darkness this man could possibly plunge this Nation into, should he become leader, is lost on @Pundit who currently suffers from stage 4 of "mtu wetu" syndrome. So here are the parallels with flatulence: Ever wonder why we find the smell of our
own farts less offensive than others'?
The reason: We become habituated to all smells over time, (just like you grow up knowing you are Kalenjin over time, others grow up and you know they are of another tribe). That's why you might notice a scent from a stranger's fat, but seldom do for your own.
It's also why you become habituated to the characteristic mix of odors produced by the bacteria inside your own body, which differs slightly from everyone else's (1% sulfurous) odor. As a result, your own farts just don't have the same impact on you —
even though they're just as pungent for everyone else.Pundit is selfish. Someone needs to tell him (and Donald J Trump) that a Country is bigger than any individual and that includes Pundit (and DJT). Pundit hates corruption but only when he is frying someone else for it, but thinks it is okay for his deity Luto to be corrupt.
Corruption is corruption, evil is evil, it does matter who commits it; corruption is "pungent" for everyone... for every soul, condemn it wholesale!
Bure kabisa.
Here ended the lesson ...
....
Many of you think that because I support Ruto - I support corruption. I don't.
Pundit, on this rare occasion I have seen humour in you post, nicely wrapped up in logic. You have made my day!
