Botswana and Namibia have thriving livestock industry. Kenya livestock sector probably has the greatest potential in agriculture. Small productivity gains would mean tremendous increase in incomes. I have been trying to get hold of ladoum sheep from Senegal and try to crossbreed with dopers https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2019/05/16/why-people-in-senegal-pay-a-fortune-for-fancy-sheep . Hopefully to get a bigger hardy sheep.
