In that sense, yes.  That and voter suppression.  He has not added a single block to his support, and has in fact lost the bit that vulgarity for vulgarity's sake does not appeal to.  The guy is trailing in near double digits in key battleground states.

But that aside, I think he is representative of the current Republican establishment.  He is not an aberration.  The Republican party, at least the rump that is left, is an anti-democratic white supremacist organization in all but name.  If there is something they can do to retain power, they will do, regardless of its propriety.  That is why Biden has to be ready for a dog fight all the way to inauguration.
