That could make for interesting debate.

So we will have mini general election to elect a new parliament or what.

90% of Mps will go home - normally they start becoming serious the last 1 or 2yrs - where they relocate from Nairobi to the ground. So this would get many of them off guards.

Me too. I was in Busia - and suddenly the town erupted. I checked the news - and it was there. But it's good thing - for democracy. Yes the case had no merit and raila failed to show up for the repeat. Raila betrayed Maraga and NASA.

Orengos strategy was Nusu Mkate , he almost got it.
One thing people dont know is that Orengos wish is for a revulition to happen.
Orengo was part and parcel of a revolution in Madagascar during his student years there.

This Maraga is truly mercurial.

Speaker Muturi is up in arms, first this decision will be taken through a court process, the same Maraga courts, secondly a plot will be hatched to do away with Maraga and supreme court judges will be the casualty.
Now Uhuru since joining hands with Raila has proven to be a dictator with impunity   disobeying court orders and only implementing the constituion in areas which he feels like and ignoring others . This is technically finishing his term, he will team up with MPs to frustrate this order.
As for Raila if he  was Raila of 5 years ago during Okoa Kenya , this would have been a golden opportunity to fight Jubilee in parliament but being a poor tactitian he will pretend to side with Uhuru.

Now a lot of pressure will come from civil societies and mwananchi, the whole nation and the world will perceive parliament being illigitemate and any transcation taking place can be challenged in court as being illegal and against the constitution.
A day in politics is one too many. Interesting times ahead

Maraga can't be touched. He has two months to retire. He is taking his exit leave in Dec.

This is mess to be inherited by the new acting DJ - Mwilu - who is already on cross-hair.

Yes it's wrench throw on Uhuru's presidency and parliament by the Judiciary.

But Maraga hands are tied. He really had no option.

If Parliament and Executive decide to whichhunt Maraga , they can make a hell out of him.
Maragas previous court cases are questionable and they might decide to use that to frustrate him.
Now this is how Mutungas court decided how to deal with the matter. Also known as handing over or throwing the monkey off the back
Quote
Maraga said the 10th Parliament held that it did not have enough time to enact the Bill and sought the extension by a year. The Supreme Court directed that they pass the legislation by August 27, 2015.

When the deadline lapsed with no legislation enacted, the first petitioner sought the court's direction and Parliament was ordered to table the Bill within 40 days from June 26, 2015.

"Despite the Bill presented to it pursuant to that order, Parliament did not enact the required legislation prompting the filling of the next petition in the High Court," said Maraga in the advisory.

Parliament was again given 60 days from the date of that order to report the progress to the Chief Justice. The House appealed the decision and lost
.

You expect judiciary to help uhuru or parliament to prosecute their former CJ.
Maraga is untouchable - he is heading to retire - having made his name.
And just let the man go - lesson learnt by power brokers - avoid those SDA nutjobs :)

He is going on a high.

Parliamentarians source of living and where they generate power is  being threatened expect rhem to come together and wage a war against Maraga .JSC and not judiciary will be used to frustrate Maraga, Maraga himself has enemies within JSC , then Judiciary will let Parliament snd Executive hang him. They wouldnt want to be dragged through that lane as it might also affect their livelyhoods.
This is not a small matter, when it sinks   you will see how the chess game will start. You know Parliament controls Judiciary budget.
I bet politicians are now scratching their heads and confused how it will impact Kenyan politics.

Which part of Magara is retiring on Jan 2021 don't you understand.
He knew all that.
He timed this to perfection.
He is taking 3 months leave - and will come back in January to collect his personal belongings.

That was his FINAL ACT before he left parliament and uhuru whatsapp group.

Magara once again has made a joke of Uhuru gov.

Its known he is proceeding for an early retirement in Oct , but politicians being politicians will take him through mud, thats the nature of politics even Willy Mutungas exit was dramatic , remember the debacle with Rawal Most of heads in such Government bodies always want to handover to an associate so that their legacy is not ruined , for cover up purposes and for a smooth transition.
In regards to Maraga and Uhurus Govt , I agree with you.
Maraga for a second time has shown middle finger to Uhurus Govt  the first one was unjustified , this time around he is justified but it wont end up well like it  did last time.
