I was thinking they would focus first on boundaries review - look like it's not going to happen.

The 3 commissioners can only be removed through  a petition - they enjoy security of tenure - or be paid to resign like the Somali group.

Look like we will have new IEBC every election cycle.

Now allowing ODM and Jubilee (Murathe) to nominate IEBC would be unacceptable.

We need a bi-partisan process that interviews candidates - and vet them thoroughly - and Uhuru to appoint them - and parliament to vet them.

True. Boundary review should have been priority even with ulterior motives like the 14 new regions. Unfortunately for our friend, he will be unable to influence anything because he is still in Jubilee which will nominate commissioners on a pro rata basis perhaps on his behalf. Current commissioners can stay as the new ones will overwhelm them. Jubilee by vierue of MPs and senators to nominate 4, ODM 3, 2 or 3 other parties nominate 1 each. Murathe can be nominated to represent Jubilee interests in Rift Valley. :D This thing is difficult to stop.

You're asking for civil war. Our friend is not NASA or Raila who will go headlong into a predetermined election. You'll get a civil war, UN will come and conduct an election in 2023, after many lives have been lost.

We need a very fair process - bi-partisan committee - publicly interviewed and vetted - and the parliament to vet them - and finally appointed.

Hio ingine is just asking for civil war. You need to be patriotic.

Ruto has to be defeated in the most fairest of process...ingine ni vita kubwa.

If cowardly NASA boycotted election - you think Ruto will go into election appointed by Murathe - and validate his rigging.

Uhuru has to wake up from Muratina induced stupor - and realize the next two years will be very critical for a peaceful transfer of power.
