I think Murathe/Gachoka fell out with Ruto ,because Ruto prevented them from eating in Jubilees  first term .This can be seen from Gachoka Jeff Koinanges interview. Is Murathe an older Mt Kenya or a millennial Mt Kenya? Choose one and explain.

Murathe is a conman  you might have forgotten in 1998, Moi had promised S.K. Macharia a Ministerial position  , he was only to ensure he becomes an MP, having been defeated by Murathe in the just concluded Gatanga elections he approached Murathe to cut a deal  , sure to his word Murathe wrote a resignation letter to ole Kaparo and S.K. was sure of a by election which he though he would win.
But alas within matter of hours after pocketing the money , Murathe wrote another letter to speaker Ole Kaparo claiming the initial one was a fake one.
Up untill today S.K Macharia is waiting for Murathe end of the deal.
Now isnt it a wonder why Raila would trust such a person. Last year he was talking of Mudavadi and Moi , this year is Raila....I would never trust such a person , however he seems to be a good drink buddy.
