Ruto hustlerness helped Jubilee in the first term. Its evident now that having him sidelined and giving his role of cordinating government activities (administratively) and introduction of BBI (politically) jas rwally affected Jubilees second term achievement. I ve listened to radio and Tv shows the last couple of days and one conclusion is Jubilee performed in the first term and in the second term they have nothing to write home.

Yes, now the issues who will carry the blame. Uhuru might want to blame Ruto. That is why Ruto has told his folks to get out of Uhuru way. Let him appoint whoever he wants.

Ruto and the company should run away from gov. Leave it to Raila and Matiangi - to deal with COVID-19 and the mess they have created.

You know investors once they sense instability - will not invest.

When Uhuru went to China with Raila. The Chinese asked him very serious questions. What was his plan for 2022 - he had no answer.

Chinese refused to lend - and that basically denied us some 4B dollars to get the SGR to Kisumu - and 1.5% boost for the economy every year while under construction.

One question lingering is the benefits of extending the SGR to Kisumu for Uhuru vis a  vis Raila. By extending to Kisumu it would have benefited Raila personal legacy and vice versa for Uhurus personal legacy.
Im 100% sure if Ruto was in the mix leave alone extension to Kisumu , most probably would have passes through eldoret and he would be passionate for its completion before 2022. Actually one of the drivers of it completing before 2017 elections was Uhuru wanted to show he had  something for re eleection..Now his only motivation is to Keep Raila happy through BBI  and amass a lot of wealth before 2022.

Kisumu route had nothing to do with Raila. Raila just was desperate as he will soon be to show handshake fruits. Kisumu route is shorter and cheaper because we are doing greenfield. We still have the OLD MGR - which will be upgraded from Mombasa to Nairobi to Nakuru to Eldoret to Malaba. I believe Ruto can easily do that if he is PORK.

Chinese knew Uhuru was upto no good and refused to lend. Huge embarrassment for Uhuru who was going to sign along the dotted lines.

Now his railway basically ends in maize plantation in Narok.

Why do you burden yourself with thoughts of things that now are clear can't happen, won't happen. @Robina been shouting hoarse but just like your god, you turned inward... the problem with being insular is you won't become PORK that way in this republic. Even Kamwana needed another tribe to win 2013 & 2017. It has dawned on you that Luto is done, otherwise why did you post that link above? In that link, it says "With the Central Kenya vote block uncertain, Ruto has a Herculean political task."
Anyone not from Centro yet depending on Centro to become PORK is a story even my late dad told me is a "NO, NO" when I was just 10 years old and old enough to grasp a thing or two about politics. It took a man with a supposed PhD to get to 55-years to figure that out... it took his side kick one @RV Pundit also of similar age to get it. Raila has always known Centro votes are a stretch and has had to looked further afield with some measure of success coz his figures (even after being stolen) still run into millions of votes. Your god has never stood for presidency... he will have a go in 2022 and he will get his biggest shock yet -  he will get will 8% just like what Kalonzo gets when he gets on the ballot. At least kalonzo gets all the kamba vote... your Luto will get 8% because he cannot even marshall all the kales onto his side .. as the Talai reminded him he runs roughshod over them only to run back to them when he needs their votes.  Unexplained political deaths have a high number of kale casualties under his perch as No.2 what a way to win favor with your tribe??

Since you think that is a hard question lemme answer it for you: One of the kyuk candidates will carry that voting block. Other than the Moi years, all presidential elections have had a kyuk candidate vying. Already in the ring is Kinjuri with his TSP, Peter Kenneth is warming out on the sidelines. By 1988 4 years before 1992 elections when Matiba resigned from Mois Government He Became Central Kenya Kingpin. FYI Kibaki outdid Matiba in Nyeri,Kirinyaga,Embu snd Meru districts .So to answer your question Mt Kenya votes was divided in 1992.
We are barely 2 years to 2022 elections and as at now Ruto has the Mt Kenya voting block on lock.
Politics is usally dynamic, no one ever thought Luo Nyanza would vote for  a Mt Kenya candidate , they did it in 2002, no one ever thought Rift Valley would vote for Mt Kenya candidate they did it in 2002,2013 and 2017.
I can tell you for free, if Raila will be on the ballot in 2022 take this to the bank , Mt Kenya will vote for Ruto in 2022.

This is why the like of Kenyatta, Raila, Moi will keep wondering why they can't be loved. Even a crazy person heart melts when Ruto or Sonko touches two hearts in these uncertain corona when livelihoods are being wiped off day by day. He has set up the relief fund which Treasury ought to have.

When meeting youths, mama mbogas, fundis, kinyozis, salonist, the feedback loop is straight to the ground unlike when you keep meeting Murathe, Gitau and Ngunyi high as a kite. Even for likes of Murathe they should have seen lines of people begging lining up for food in Geneva and NY.
Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one ~ Thomas Paine

This are corruption outlets - they have depleted big projects - now they are on small time heists. With a compliant auditor general this is easy to duplicate signatures of vijans just like Kazi kwa Vijana.

If NMS is working, why need vijana running around with shovels? Technocrats have learnt how easy it is to fool Uhuru, where optics are - no different from Sonko or Kavaluku.

Photos of him flagging off water honey suckers after we have had rains for five years non stop is a sneak preview legacy he is pursuing.
