vooke,

Our people's are an enigma.  Agwambo is the only word that comes to mind when I consider them.  We are an interesting breed.  Kikwete lost his Negro credentials some time back.

I just realized looking at the sources that I should wait for independent confirmation.  This looks like one of those stories planted by pro-kamwana groupies sending feelers out.

They want to gauge the reactions, if any, from these leaders before deciding whether it's worthwhile to officially communicate such a wish to them.

If an embassy official from the aforementioned countries denies it, they'll not bother calling that leader to join the circus.  A request they recognize would be ridiculous, even to an African strongman.

For the moment I'll treat it as what kamwana would love to happen rather than something even being discussed in the opulent residences of the despots.

As long as they keep it personal[not official]...no problem. Uhuru is being charged on his individual capacity.

A country suffering great poverty staging a modern day Mansa Musa pilgrimage is a shame beyond imagination. I am told the price of Gold collapsed along the route used by Mansa Musa as Gold became cheaper than Iron ore.

Let's wait and see if Kagame comes through or it will be a self-inflicted wound.

It is not clear whether Rwanda President Paul Kagame will go to The Hague but sources close to him said he may not travel.

ICC judges ordered President Kenyatta to travel to The Hague on October 8 for a status conference.

The ICC judges rejected his request to be excused from attending the trial or for postponement of the hearing.

It would be silly for a head of state even of a banana repuplic to accompany another head of state to a criminal court.  To do what? The judges would not even notice them and even if they did, they would careless.  And they blame poor unemployed youth for being idle hecklers.  This would be nothing but heckling and protesting in the streets if they did. Netherlands would probably provide them with a place to protest under the watchfull eyes of the police more than 100ft from the court house.  Bure kabisa even to entertain such an asanine idea.

I was actually wondering how Museveni could afford to go to the Hague in solidarity with Uhuru at the expense of his country's independence day. Who came up with these rumors?
