Look like we got drama. If I were pro-Ruto senator - I will not go to the statehouse. Best to rush to court and give something Lusaka to hold on.

Look like we got ourselves real drama.

Uhuru has gone MAD. Will Ruto also go MAD.

Raila must be sleeping with socks on.

Lol Pundit why would Raila be sleeping with socks on? I think what is required- “process” - is for party to produce “minutes” of decision from bona fide party organ. Kieleweke/Tuju argument is that JP katiba gives Uhuru absolute power to do anything or to overrule other officials. I agree :)

This happened for JP NMC changes recently. During ODM/Weta Minority Leader drama Mbadi and Sifuna wrote to Lusaka with minutes of senate PG resolution to sack Rectangular. Raila had the numbers in ODM/NASA (20 ODM out of 27 NASA senators) unlike Uhuru. I don’t think this requires a plenary vote so it come down to spineless Lusaka. National Assembly should be easier because Muturi is Uhuru boy. Duale and Washiali are also softballs unlike Murkomen and Kihika who are loudmouths.

Yes we got drama. Don’t be surprised to see Duale and Washiali dumping Ruto. :)

Ruto is CAGED and cannot go MAD. Cause GEMA. You rain blows on Uhuru while Raila defend him... what possible outcomes are there? All redlines were long crossed. This coalition with KANU for instance was signed despite Ruto and Tangatanga noises.

I think Raila has to be smiling ear to ear seeing Ruto and Uhuru engaging in fratricide war whose outcome is dead or weaken Jubilee. It makes him very valuable.

As for Ruto and Uhuru, the battle royale for the party begins.

Uhuru will try to bulldoze party changes. Ruto has Lusaka the Senate speaker.

The rules requires changes are communicated by Party Chief whip - Susan Kihika - and party will be seeking to replace both her and Murkomen.

Now would be time to go MAD. For you MAD is PEV. It is not. At least not yet. The MAD Now is going to happen in GEMA - it basically to go for Uhuru juggle and try to upstage him in GEMA land.

Standing Order procedure is for Deputy Whip to write to Speaker if the changes also affect the Whip.

Don't be too sure about Lusaka  - he is spineless and easy sell-out. 2017 he dumped UDF/CORD for 20 pieces of silver. Not a principled man nor a fighter.

Well, Ruto better get a court order to block this - or better quit Jubilee. It's going to be nasty.

Ruto has to go hard on the drunkard if he tries to do this. But am opposed to him quitting jubilee that's would be unwise. Ruto need to stick as DP and lead the ferocious counter attack from inside he has to make it very messy divide the entire government and institutions including army and police through the  middle, thats how he will survive the drunkard will regret ever doing the handshake.

Gov is dead - COVID-19 has done the damage. Gov without taxes is dead - and will be under IMF management. Staying in Gov is just being an irritant. Otherwise the issues - if you stay in Jubilee and uhuru does whatever he wants - without even NEC - then you're wasting time. Jubilee as brand is dead when KANU and everyone is now party of it - and the economy will tank - because infighting will drive investment to zero.

So If I woulda tart hustler movement or revolution - not registered - but nebulous - for legal reason - every person will remain Jubilee. That  Hustler movement will start with structures - again nebulous - not registered.

That way you can easily use Murkomen and other talents - rather than fighting in court.

So leave "Jubilee" by starting Hustler movement  - not a party in the legal sense.

This is how Jubilee started during those ICC meetings. This how Narc started.

Uhuru will be forced to dig in and get Raila to help him.

Yes hustler vs dynasty is good strategy. Njuri divide GoK into two - including Army and Police :) - is comical. The machinery or Executive will stick with PORK. Hustler movement can morph into party easily during 6-month window in 2022. Between now and then there will be lots of battle as Murkomens resist ejection. Raila has the lead in tribal sense of regional big-wigs so hustler vs tribalism is what Ruto faces. I suspect this is the tactical reason Cheluguis and Keters can't be fired nor Raila join cabinet formally - to deny Ruto outsider or under-dog card.

What side will Sonkos end up? Will that sway enough "hustlers" to Ruto? What is more powerful - class or tribe? Propaganda will be very critical in this war.

Seem Uhuru is going "formal process" by calling Jubilee Senate PG. They will disagree and Party Leader will play Jubilee katiba card of authority over all officials ala MNC. Then Irungu Kang'ata will write to Lusaka and Murkomen and Kihika will write protest letters. Lusaka is in party registrar position. It largely depends whether he is principled fighter or wishy-washy and spineless as I suspect - in the latter case he will "neutral" and uphold Kang'ata letter.

High court will rule Parliament is independent and Speaker is final arbiter on Standing Orders - or well Lusaka will ignore the court order. This precedent was set in post-2010 NARA by Marende during Vishram-Kilukumi appointment by Kibaki without consulting Raila or JSC. Marende overruled high court injunction against Parliament not to vet Kibaki appointees while court case was ongoing. During media bill in Jubilee 1.0 Muturi overruled court order to gag Parliament from discussing the bill during court case by MOA, KUJ and NGOs. Basically so long as the battle is about only Parliament posts - not other bodies or commissions - Lusaka will be tied by precedent. Because if he doesn't then tomorrow judge gags Parliament from discussing bills. Speaker is highly likely to stick out for independence. Only a formally assented act can be challenged in court not bills or motions on the floor.

In short Uhuru is going to successfully eject Ruto crew.
