Uhuru is so incompetent, he cannot defended. Kikuyu rank and file doesn't want to hear anything to do with him. if kenyan left was organized this the moment to strike and take power from uhuru. Raila conmanship has run it course. He is not even talked about as an alternative

The simpletons will vote for ruto to punish wanjohi

Jubilee 1.0 was mean machine - Raila has jinxed this gov. Ruto really tried to manage the drunkard including getting him to the gym and managing to make him reduce his alcohol - but he is back to drinking like a kite and smoking like a chimney - has added all the weight back plus more - and now gov is radar-less - everyone is doing their thing - and there is barely anything one can point that Jubilee has achieved three years late - and now COVID-19 has certainly ended any chance of redemption.

Jubilee as a party is even WORSE - no meeting of any sort has been held.

I thought kamwana released his foot off the pombe pedal. Uhuru has ruled the country assuming its a developed country and gets angry when basic things are brought to his attention that his government is failing. No wonder he has gone full elite to have people massage his ego because Ruto couldn't. Unfortunately Ruto would have had an easy ride to Pork were it not his thirst for corruption and land grabbing. Now we don't have a choice since the alternative is worse we have to vote him simply to destroy the elite.

So Ruto is not part of the elite?
Reminds me of how the US$ billionaire Donald Trump sold the idea of him being not part of the American elite to the poor White folks.

Ruto is just the convenient anti-Raila foil for now.  GEMA is divided in its sheer terror of the Raila peril and ambivalence about the hustler.  Being one of many minority groups in play, a split, even a minor one, is good enough for Baba.

Trump did not sell(successfully) his anti-elitism, but was a convincing racist.  The best predictor for Trump support was racial anxiety.  Better than being a registered Republican for example.

We tend to forget that Raila killed NASA long time ago - and just has weaken ODM - and has practically lost Kamba and most of luhyaland (Bukusu & Maragoli). So as you focus on the % of GEMA that Ruto may lose - remember Raila has lost at most about half of NASA. Ruto can easily replace the small % of GEMA that will follow Uhuru (if it comes to that) by winning say Bukuru or Kamba or Maragoli - just one of that is enough.

Waste of time. Nothing like free and fair elections in kenya.
EJubilee 1.0 was a disaster, all you have to look at is National debt and when these half baked developments
infrastructures were initiated. Ruto gave us Uhuru so how can we absolve him from Uhuru deficiency.

Baba has lost ground but does not mean Ruto has gained where Baba has lost. Wait till 3 months to the elections and then we will see which dynamics take place. Right now it is just shadow boxing.
Btw, where is the man from Sugoi of late? Is he so scared of getting that corona virus? He should remember unlike his boss, he as a teetotller and non smoker is not in the high risk group.

Jubilee fanatics believed an unfair system will always serve their purpose.

:sorry: Sorry mate... if wishes were horses indeed!

It has taken pretty loooong for you to realize the obvious that your boy is cooked. Drowning man clutching at straws.... it is a survivor's instinct, whether it will save him or not remains to be seen.

It is a about time some obvious current state of affairs must be accepted at this point.... the "mganga old man", babu as Vooke calls him has run rings around your dynamic duo. I wonder why it was not so obvious that he was doing another NDP/KANU on Uhuru... he has surreptitiously broken Jubilee and scattered it to the four winds without breaking a sweat. Whether Uhuru is playing him and stringing him along as was your false hope is not the issue now, Jubilee as we knew it is no more.

You are now reduced to giving us fables how Jubilee 1.0 was a mean machine..... yes, a mean machine for all that has gone wrong with Kenya since Kibaki's departure, Covid-19 or not!

What happened to the warriors that you had lined up for us..., they seem to have retreated without a whimper!

I wish we all took a view to reboot Kenya without the tribal/ethnic blinkers. I invite you to take the pragmatic route that I, Dear Mami and many here have taken; embrace whatever good comes out of BBI (when we get it back on the road after the Corona lockdown) and let us platform a new Kenya from there.

Barikiwa, welcome back and Stay strong chappy!

You don't own Luhyas - so I don't understand why you're going nuts. This is politics. Jubilee might split. Uhuru and Ruto may well fall out. What has happened though is Raila has fallen out with kalonzo, Wetangula and Mudavadi. There is no iff there. If I look at Bukusu land for example - I bet that is your home area - I see majority of Mps are supporting Ruto - and I guess majority of MCAs. I  hear Lusaka is very popular and will be dueling with Wetangula for governship - and the new guy - Wangamati is dead in the weather. Raila obviously is dead in Bukusuland..his only Bukusu mp is Westland Wanyonyi and Nipate's Pragmatic. Now where Wetangula moves - will probably influence about 50% - otherwise, 50% are already in Jubilee with Ruto to stay.

My friend stop your ODM premature ejaculation. Ruto remains the man to beat - Jubilee as the party is largely united - Tuju will be left with a piece of paper. Raila despite the huff n puffin - long killed NASA and is out there trying to amend the katiba :) :)

Ruto is not to blame for the current economic  hardships facing Kenya even before corona Kenya was in ICU most GEMA are in business and farming and thats exactly where economy hit hard after handshake so mt. Kenya folks equate handshake to economic ruin from kirinyaga road and nyamakima to maua people are complaining. Uhuru biggest mistake was to appear to endorse baba when things were so bad mashinani now unfortunately he can't gain any track will max out at 25%most, you can see waiguru is already struggling and was about to be impeached before bae stepped in... And apparently she was supposed to be baba running mate.
