I bought Ethereums for $12 late 2016... they are still squeaking as my dad old Peugeot 404 pickup compared to my greater portfolio. Barely 1200% ROI. Give it time.
Elon Musk is a force of nature... not a mere mortal. Tesla or SpaceX start and end with him. If he catches covid-19 everything poof!
But he is very careful with his personal safety and health. Now that is one big factor in picking stock: if the big kahuna is a certified genius what is a better buy flag than that?
Land or real estate has collapsed more than once. Just like tech. Tech swiftly bounced back up while real estate had to wait for rich Chinese kids to create demand for vintage condos in NY. Kenyans who invested in real estate in Nairobi and its environs are a disappointed lot. The rent can barely meet the mortgage.
Clearly you are not so good at investment as you are in tribal math. For a techie you are a joke - to be so conservative. It is the golden age for techies.
But I agree entirely don't put down your money in what you don't understand. $12k was alot for me in 2010 but I knew enough about btc advantage to smell the aroma of roses. Obviously a pioneer
cryptocurrency was gona be used by looters, drug dealers, tax evaders, rogue states, etc - solid uptake way before any legit business.
I bet you William Ruto has millions of $$ in bitcoins.
Robina, so you tell us any investment you picked that wasn't a winner..or you just young generation who see Elon musk as their Jesus.I had gay mzungu like that.He had invested some money in bitcoins at college, at one point he cashed out after making huge profit , quit the job and travelled the world.. I need to check him out.Anyway out of campus we had about half the guys into buying equities and half into real estate...the equities guys now have one common character..they hate gov....they have watched their paper wealth evaporate. My real estate annually appreciate. If I want to play risk...then I will quit .my job and start my own start-up.I cannot trust someone else with my money
