Current NFD terrain is abit complex to digest cause Jubilee has half the seats but some are anti-Ruto like Haji. The other half are independents. Swing regions largely depend on pointmen. On that count Ruto is doing poorly - with his lineup of pawns. Only RV is firmly in Ruto bag.

You can see how his extreme greed for power makes him not to have a stand on a black & white issue like Mau.
