Pastor how do you distinguish real vs imaginary? For psychological intersex

I think there is a tendency, among the religious, to see psychological things as not quite of this world.  Ergo not a valid thing to study scientifically.  My hot take.

The religious are a contrived lot. Jesus loves and welcomes everyone - provided of course that "everyone" fits into their narrow biblical box. The right conflates liberalism and science. LGBT is fiction as is climate change.

Because there is something mental about imagining you are the opposite gender. This is something totally different from sexual attraction by your own gender

I would understand the need to count biologically intersex persons in the census. The matter of feelings dictating gender is totally different. If intersex "feelers" or trans sexuals are to be counted, then let the census also include prostitutes, pedophiles and cross dressers too.

Except prostitute is  not an identity. Conservatives by definition will resist anything that is different especially when it barely affects them. Hence the bizarre excuses and reasons now about how GoK should not simply count people. What if they were getting paid or something

Prostitution is a profession. Intersexual is a gender identity. Yes sex is a continuum but backwater Kenya now at least acknowledges a 3rd gender.

I see. I think you and vooke are afraid or distrusting of identity politics. If intersex persons turn out to be a significant headcount, obviously they will become a 45th tribe after the women. You cannot stop political progression so I suggest you adapt and embrace it.
