Why are you surprised? The second term always brings out the true colours of a president. One cannot hide behind PR as people expect results and one cannot place blame on the previous regime.
Uhuru was an imcompetent leader from day one. He is driven by personal interests of his family and his close buddies. He will pay a big price for it as after 2023 nobody will want to be associated with him.

They were too ashamed to sue him under Cap 99 National Anthem,Emblems bla bla so they went for the vaguest of all sections of traffic Act.

Message is , Tanga Tanga is giving Uhuru nightmares

GEMA are going to chart their future without Uhuru. He needs to seriously backpeddle. Handshake is so unpopular in Jubilee it's dead on arrival.

On the contrary Ruto after starting 2nd term with entire Jubilee and GEMA in his back pocket, has been haemorrhaging support. I asked you what is going on in Meru? Linturi, Mpuru Aburi and Munya are leading a big fight against Ruto boy Kiraitu. If you listen to their speeches it's like straight from Kamanda lines. Moses Kuria and Mwangi wa Iria have left Ruto camp. Also Irungu Kang'ata. Kisii with Matiang'i and the Onyonkas have left him.  Coast Kingi has ditched him. Where is Ruto doing well? In GEMA? - fighting a GEMA PORK a whole 5 years while banking on the same GEMA is a very bad position. 80 year old Babu really pulled the carpet under your boy with the Handshake.

As long as they are not moving to Baba or Ruto opponents - it all good - they are just re-positioning for the horse trading - while others like Kiambu or Meru or Rv brigade have their own issues with local govs.

Ruto as far as everyone is concerned is the clear front run in 2022 - with clear national support. Every county Ruto goes - there is sizeable Mps and local leadership backing him.

Raila obviously has reduced himself to Luo leader. I mean outside of Joho and maybe Busia - ODM is now LUO PARTY. He has lost his NASA comrades.

Has Ruto lost Uhuru - I don't think so. Uhuru dillydallying is making him lameduck because Kikuyus have basically abandoned him - kieleweke is ODM's Ngunjiri, Maoke Maore and such characters.

Don't even talk about GEMA - because the way Uhuru is playing with Kikuyu support - Ruto may well not need him. Already GEMA leadership are trying to reposition themselves to take the mantle from Uhuru by force....Munya has his party revamped...even useless people like Kuria have their own ideas....

Let not talk about Ruto new acquisitions like western brigade led by Khawale (Wetangula is gone - I see his people running to Ruto camp), Kirwa & Tranzoia crew, Aisha Jumwas, Nanok & turkana crew , NEP  & etc.

In conclusion, Ruto is now the new KING. Uhuru is the outgoing leader...he has two budgets before he is gone.

Uhuru need to dump Kibicho and Nancy before they do him in. He won't have legacy to stand on and he will be kicked out. Ruto was willing to give him a soft landing - but he may just have to knock him out.

Nice insha - Kichwa used to type those about Raila big support 2008-12. Raila had MPs in every corner - literally - without needing to buy them like Ruto has done. By 2012 there was nothing. Ruto now has think-tanks all set up to "analyze the political direction" - he's paranoid. What I think is - your man has lost the QUEEN - Uhuru - to Raila - and won a few pawns like Jumwa. For every Khalwale or Nanok - there is a departing Wa Iria or Kingi or Tolgos or Buzeki. All I see in this MCA story - is Uhuru bringing the hammer down on Ruto crew in Central - who he has condoned for long.

Senile Raila basically smashed your boy - Uhuru support gone, incumbency/DPORK job gone, Jubilee Party gone - from anointed candidate to now. I say that's a real trojan horse - Babu hapana mchezo.

You're quick to conclude. BBI - referendum - when is that happening. ODM mps are begging for billions to go to a referendum already. They know Raila is being played.

Those are solid achievements for senile Babu. BBI is a bonus. This referendum story is a real fight coming. Ruto best bet is to block it in Parliament. Cause once it hits the ground - there is no telling what may happen. He has been pretending to support Uhuru in Central - referendum would make things really bad.

Meantime Uhuru squeezes Ruto balls

Waititu woes persist

Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu. His star seems to be waning, barely two years after he ousted Mr William Kabogo with residents expressing dissatisfaction with the way the county is being run. PHOTO | FRANCIS NDERITU | NATION MEDIA GROUP

Quote
IN SUMMARY

The streetwise politician garnered 746,945 votes in the August 2017 election to unseat Mr Kabogo.

Mr Waititu was humiliated on Sunday in Githurai when residents heckled him as he tried to address them.

He has for the past few months been grappling with allegations of corruption in his administration.

He claims his woes are being orchestrated by his political enemies led by his deputy James Nyoro

Quote
Pockets of protests have emerged against the county chief, who is locally referred to as Wakahare (squirrel), over alleged incompetence, impunity and graft in his administration.
