In the SSA region, Kenya ranked third after Mauritius (74), which dropped one place from the previous gauge, and Cape Verde (94).

Very badly apart from Mauritus and Cape-Verde. We are making great strides. Thanks to initiatives like Jubilee's 36B Kshs deal with Generic Electric to supply and maintain world-class medical equipment to two hospitals in every county. Now people can literally walk and have MRI done on them. Previously they had to travel to Nairobi (KNH) or Eldoret(MTRH). Jubilee's free maternity was also a great success.

With UHC, counties improving health facilities, and CUBA doctor deal - expect to see more healthier kenyans living longer.

GE has its issues but you cannot compare it to that bandia construction company enlisted by looting government officials all with RV roots.

I know but with all the Phillipses and other options one would  expect better from GoK. GE will wind up in pieces - sold off to other companies. It's a dinosaur that has failed to adapt - a rather poor choice as strategic health partner.
