Subjecting God to Referendum
« on: November 04, 2018, 09:39:46 AM »
RAO is not alone. Here in Ala, the main question will be whether or not to display the Ten Commandments in public. Courthouses and schools especially. There is also the small print of Roe vs Wade. SCOTUS will be squarely brought into the picture because someone is sure to contest this.

Geemail,

What do you think of the Georgia governor's race?  I am lost for words.  The GOP candidate, Brian Kemp, is also the Secretary of State.  The same guy managing that election.  He has been asked to step down or otherwise recuse himself from managing the election by Jimmy Carter among others and he has refused.  This shit does not happen even in Uganda.

I wondered about it too. Just like Chiloberry running for Kakamega governor (before he was kicked out). The thing about American mindset is that there is some honor still. People have some respect for institutions (Trump excluded, of course) such that states can manage elections even if they are also running. Oprah and our Kassin helped a lot. Stacey will take it.
