There is clear and present danger that the gilets jeunes movement has been hijacked by extremists and this will embolden Macron to deal with them ruthlessly. He's likely to declare them to be terrorists and get them arrested. A false flag operation will be a perfect excuse. Global leaders are watching Paris with consternation because it can happen anywhere. They will ask him to contain the problem "by all means necessary."
