I do not know if its obvious that he is the one who did it.  I would understand why the Garrisa governor killed because his governorship was on the line, but why kill a pregnant woman. He could always deny, marry her, pay child support. In Kenya having a child out of wedlock is not a career killer, and therefore no reason to kill for.  There must be more to this one and therefore I would wait for more facts. This should be so easy to investigate and I hope the DCI does not screw it.

Kichwa even the Garissa governor I fail to see what threat would cause the killing. Given lawyer Charles Kanjama and others were already involved why kill the former county exec? It's not even a requirement that governors possess a masters degree. Due process will tell us the story, my bet is the killing if orchestrated by the governor would have to do with corruption and not education certs.

all points valid but we have to start somewhere and this would be the best point to deal with this kind of impunity. imagine a suspect being killed in police custody? this is beyond mafia state. The 2 governors should step aside and allow investigations to be carried out if exonerated they can resume feeding frenzy
