And then you have idiots here who cheer them on.  When African leaders fail they always think they failed because they were too "soft" so they resort to draconian and dictatorial means to restore "respect".  They blame it on too much democracy, and the idiots who should know better continue to cheer. Ouru goes into an election where less than 35% of the electorate show up to vote and he thinks that the "instruments of power" will make him a legitimate leader if only he can crack harder on decent. Constitutional to the jubilant simply means corrupt the process, including violating the same constitution, until you achieve a legally favorable outcome.  The problem is everyone has now decided to cherry pick when the law applies and when it doesn't.
