Reminds me of this from last year:
Not a valid youtube URL
Plenty of media coverage. The toothless leader of the toothless NCIC "dispatched a team" to sort out things. That was the was the least we heard of that one.
Oh, and this too:
Controversy-hit Moi University could have lost up to Sh1 billion in one of the worst suspected corruption scandals in a public-owned institution of higher learning, a new audit seen by the Sunday Nation reveals.
http://www.nation.co.ke/news/Audit-reveals-Sh1bn-loss-at-Moi-varsity/1056-3401960-13bwv6m/index.htmlThe EACC was supposedly looking into the matter. Perhaps even "trailing" people.
That was the last we heard of it.
Fast-forward to Nov 2017 and the new "leadership" for the place. 100% would have been "awkward", but 99% will do nicely. Our man is as close to perfection as one can get.
And people wonder why graduates (from D- to A+) of these "leading national universities" can't do shit.
Anyways ...
