Post election instability deny kenya chance to host CHAN football
« on: September 24, 2017, 12:13:14 AM »
It is the second time the regional economic powerhouse has lost the right to stage a CAF competition after being replaced by South Africa as 1996 Africa Cup of Nations hosts.

Kenya would have been the second successive east African country to stage the CHAN after Rwanda in 2016.

Other hosts since the 2009 inception of the Nations Championship were the Ivory Coast, Sudan and South Africa.

There can't be a more apt representation/example of the ineptitude, corruption and incompetence of this government.  CAF actually said that the Kenyan government lied.  Please note that the most senior government official that they engaged with directly were none other than William S Ruto.

The Jubilee government is an embarrassment and has failed ALL kenyans.

Thieving bastards.

This is a failure by our football yet again. Althetics has held international meets including one recently in Kasarani.
