This is what Dr. Ndii meant by "divorce" I gather. I know the feeling. It's a dangerous sentiment that increases with every election these days. I pray for the best outcome for all Kenyans. What I do know, ile plan ati ya kuswap btw Central and Kalenjin every ten years is not gonna happen. We must find a way of creating nationalism.

History tell us of families have dominated countries for centuries leave alone this small one in kenya where the fear is ethnic dominances. The fact is it's getting harder and harder for to dislodge Jubilee. I don't know what the plan you guys have to stop Ruto but surely he is the front-runner in 2027 and  of course 2032. And my bet is he will pick a kikuyu VP who will continue to 2042 and then another Kalenjin will take it to 2052 and then another kikuyu will complete the circle in 2062!!.

Of course all this can go up in smoke in event of death or any unforeseen circumstances.

There are few hardliners in other tribes that won't accept this - but as long as UhuRuto can manage to keep their coalition intact - they should be good to go - they will have money, power, influences and force to slay any resistance. For example Influential Gusii politician will have to choose btw money/power and you're idea of "nationalism" - he'll pick the money.

The coalition will not hold till 2022. First in the line to break with this coalition will be the Amerus and Embus. If Ruto does not name a Meru as DP candidate then the game is over for the Merus. Already Prof Kindiki has laid claims on the post and Kiraitu Murungi is also laying claims on the same. On the other hand Anne Waiguru despite of the "catwalk" claim by Ruto is now the frontrunner among the Kikuyu, either for president or DP.  If she is not Jubilee's DP she will run for the top post.
We forget Ruto promised Wamalwa the DP post in 2022. My bet this will not come to be. Wamalwa cannot garanty Ruto the Bungoma leave alone Luhya vote. In case he is not Jubilee's DP candidate, then Ruto cannot even dream of the Bungoma vote Jubilee got in 2017.
As of the Jubilee Kissi vote of 2017, no garanty of a repeat in 2022. Kisiis do not like Ruto. There is something about this man that Kisiis do not like.

Look Kadudu

Ruto is history. Uthamaki work from election to election and change allies and dispose of others. That is how to maintain Uthamaki.

They know the day power leaves Kikuyuland, it will never return.

Their population is dwindling and they are no longer the only tribe with a super wealthy elite. Obviously once someone else takes power, the voter numbers in Kiambu, Nakuru etc would have to be examined.

If the person is wise, he would use the same tactics they have used to deny Kenyans a say in the choice of leaders and he will be cheered just as loudly as the Kikuyus who danced and killed those not showing enough enthusiasm for Uthamaki on the streets.

I notice Pundit gloating amid the compulsory propaganda (now an essential part of every one of his posts) that Jubilee is getting entrenched. I could agree but then my agreement is that well known case of dual meaning best illustrated by a Lion and a widow saying "He was a good man". Both are sincere and sadly honest by that same statement but mean different things.

Ruto is not and will never be part of Jubilee. Keter is the Uthamaki man.

The coalition will not hold till 2022. First in the line to break with this coalition will be the Amerus and Embus. If Ruto does not name a Meru as DP candidate then the game is over for the Merus. Surely we will have enough time for this in next 5yrs. One word from me - things don't just happen - they are made to happen. The choice of VP is Uhuru to make. He can pick his wife or his son - and Ruto will make him DPORK - and they will proceed to win. Everyone else is dispensable. The small boy from Tharaka is smoking some heavy weed - he is best advised to look for Tharaka Governorship. Kiraitu & Waiguru will be busy defending their governorship - no small seat. Wamalwa surely knows his worth - not very much.

Ruto will play his game....and it won't be ajua. It will be high stake chess. Already all the piece are coming together. It's upto Uhuru and Kikuyu community to come up with DP who'll take 50% of GoK - they can decide to give it to El' Molo - but that is their choice.

The coalition will not hold till 2022. First in the line to break with this coalition will be the Amerus and Embus. If Ruto does not name a Meru as DP candidate then the game is over for the Merus. You don't miss a beat despite any all the wrong calls & projection, do you? Jubilee is ruto baby -
In fact going forward if I want to proof a false hypothesis I'll just read yours.

I think those who underrate Ruto have never paid attention to the MAN. Those that have take notice - begin to hate the MAN.

Ruto makes things happen - yesterday I was talking to close Ruto man - and he regaled me with how Ruto played with Peter Kenneth ego recently - Keneth had taken Uhuru sane advice to go Muranga - Ruto using friendly kikuyu mps - made him believe Muranga was small thing for the big man - and he should go to Nairobi - unaware Sonko was waiting to confine him six feet under. Uhuru was brought into play - and he even asked Muranga people to pray for their son as he takes on bigger things in Nairobi. Six feet under.

You just need to go through 2017 results to see Ruto began his 2022 bid in 2013.....Ruto is not resting..he is building war chest in all fronts...money..connections..allies..name it...and discarding enemies and potential enemies...and building new ones.

One thing Ruto need to win 2022 is a lot of money..maybe 100B. That he has to steal :D - I don't see how else he'll get that money.

Ruto is not and will never be part of Jubilee. Keter is the Uthamaki man.

Pundit,
I just came back from a retreat with a Kikuyu, Kisii and Luo professional organization. The feeling was that only fools will support Ruto. Kisii uncontrollable hate of Kales, Kikuyu professionals fear Kalenjins corruption, Luos were non committal they may support him to shaft Kikuyus.

Ruto can coat Sonko or forget chance. The best Ruto will do is maximum 35% on his run in 2022.. In 2022 we will have 3 strong candidates and for the first time a runoff will happen. Uhuru will let ruto fry on his own PEV fat

Professional fail in politics. Those that make it soon also fail - like Mr Kidero. Politics is different kettle fish. It's not about rational decision. Otherwise how could ICC indicted UhuRuto win in 2013?.  Ruto knows who'll make kikuyu vote for him - Uhuru Kenyatta. He knows who will make Luo vote for him - Raila Odinga. He knows who will make Gusii vote for him - numerous clan elders of Gusii. The same is true for other communities -  now those are people Ruto will make a deal with or buy them or finish them. The rest of us are pawns. Kikuyu will vote for Ruto bila waziwazi. Gusii will vote for Ruto for 1) key Gusii leaders will back him 2) they will sue peace.

Don't go on listening to idiots calling themselves proffesional. Who is Nairobi Governor now - Jail bird Sonko? Who is Kiambu Governor - Waititu who cannot string an english sentence? Who is Governor of Kirinyanga - Waiguru? Mombasa Governor - D- Drug Dealer Joho? Who is Taveta Governor - Samboja who didn't complete high school? Who is guiding Kambas - Muthama a std 7 drop out?

Show me a proffesional - who understands politics - just pick one.

Anyang Nyongo, Ichungwa, Orengo, Raila, Oparanya, Professor from Makueni, Dr Mutua, Dr Laboso, Keter, Kericho MP, Pasaris, only a few idiots suceed in life.. these idiots are smart but have no formal education. we call these idiots like Sonko clever fools.. Sonko can stick his penis in a nuclear socket if he reads some conspiracy that it would increase its girth and length

Even geniuses like Steve Jobs become idiots when they try to be Medical doctors. Steve jobs tried to cure himself from cancer by going a fruit diet. by the time the moron sought cancer treatment in a hospital he was in stage 4. Pancreatic cancer is the most survivable cancer.

All of them except Raila (who has really doggy academic record) are just pawns to un-educated but rich political king-pins. First rule of politics - have a lot of money. Then spend that money to buy support. The rest kama PR are the icing on the cake. Uhuru is PORK because he has LOTs of MONEY. He throws 1B and all politicians quickly switch side and sing his tune. You have someone like Gideon Moi who has money but has no generosity gene of Moi - so he remains lonely political figure - while a less richer Ruto has national following because he is not afraid to spend. Joho has been bankrolling coast politician since 2007 - and you can see he's got a near firm crip of Kilifi-kwale-Mombasa.

statistically proof that money is the only ingredient in politics. Use your stupid MOAS . Anyang Nyongo, Kivutha Kibwana, are intellectuals. They have survived for over 30 years because they are book smart and are very intelligent.

Kenya senate and Parliament has over 50% top notch professionals. Nyanza alone may have more engineers and lawyers as MPs than the whole of Coast

They've survived by pretending to be fools and singing praise to less educated Raila & Kalonzo. If they dare shows their intellectualism - they'll be home by 2pm. If Raila ask Nyongo to jump - he will ask how high.  I'd rank Money in kenya as the most important asset one can have - and of course the ability and willingness to spend it smartly. If you throw money livondo style to a crowd- then you're going nowhere. You've invest it - then you're step 1. Of course you'll alot more other things - but without money - you cannot last much in Kenya. Sonko won thanks to his bottomless pockets.

What for? It's a factor but not the most important. Academic profile is good to get your started but to move to next level you need more. You need to be good orator/demagogue. You need to have lots of money. You need to build network. You need to know when to make a move. etc etc.

Hope when it arrives at AU Kenya or Rwanda will not be chairing.

They want self determination.  But it's not clear whether they want to secede, get some autonomy short of seceding or join another country.  That kind of information is missing.
