: is the writer Kenyan? I always think these pieces display carelessness and laziness (not well informed) or prejudice but this guy explains the issue exactly as someone on the opposition side would see it. If he's not Kenyan and hasn't lived there for long then wow! that's a good researcher/journalist, very different from the norm in reporting non-western news especially from Africa.
