Uhuru to be Declared "Winner" Shortly
« on: August 11, 2017, 10:56:14 AM »
In 1988 Moi embarked on the most blatant rigging in the history of the country since the death of Mboya. Within two years he had such a huge problem on his hands he had no choice but to embrace Multi-party democracy.

What Uhuru has done is the stuff that gives birth to revolutions. He has broken the records of both Moi and Kibaki.

In 1988 Moi as in all elections, ensured that he was the "sole candidate". This had been the ritual from Jomo Kenyatta's time after he banned the KPU. A little known fact is that Jomo Kenyatta feared elections. He illegally "postponed the 1968 elections even though he had no powers to do so. He thereafter instituted mono-party dictatorship which shielded him from elections until he died.

Moi inherited the "monarchy". Had Kenyatta died six months later than he did, Moi would have inherited a Monarchy. Kikuyu politicians had been leading a well publicized campaign to have the President of Kenya to hold the office for "life" and draft legislation had reached Attorney General Charles Njonjo's desk. The matter was widely covered in the media with the Nation having become a tabloid a few months earlier leading the charge.

Moi was content to rig himself in to power in 1978 by refusing to hold general elections as provided for when the Presidency falls vacant under the then constitution. He however quickly called them the following year, ensured he was unopposed and thus embarked on a 24 year dictatorship where he presided over five elections with only three being under multiparty rules.

Moi learned from his 1988 mistake and henceforth steered clear of rigging any seat lower than president. He saw many of his supporters lose elections and lifted no rigging finger to assist them. He could nominate some to parliament but avoided using the extensive powers of state to rig them in.

It is that same thing Kibaki did in 2007. He rigged for himself alone. He risked having an opposition majority and he did get one. Part of the reason the 2007 manenos could stop easily was because only the presidency was disputed and once there was some kind of solution, the reason for the fight removed all calmed, albeit uneasily.

Uhuru has interfered with MCAs, MPs, Senators, Governors etc. In all my life I have never met more dangerous, reckless inciters like MCAs. Sadly more than half of our MPs are former MCAs.

Uhuru is set to be declared winner any moment from now.

Prepare for a long period of chaos in Kenya. Even this late hour, I hope he will reconsider, defy his diehard aides and pursue a different approach.

The plan to arrest Raila has been shelved and instead they will be arresting his lieutenants starting with Orengo, Mudavadi etc. I have heard that Raila will be charged with the old new crime of "Calling for Mass action" contrary to the "ICC laws". The stupidity

Pundit its time for you to gloat. Your MOAS was just too accurate. I can not manage to count the number of Governors, MPs, Senators and MCAs that score 54%
