I believe your fears are unfounded Kadame - the country has always fought for itself. Before this we had Pio Gama Pinto, Tom Mboya, JM Kariuki, Jaramogi, Matiba, etc - all of whom were formidable - and were timely replaced by new guards. Pundit is wrong to imagine Ruto will have it easy - he won't - new heroes will emerge and I think beating Raila and Kalonzo is probably way easier. Expect new alliances - as the Mutuas, Johos, etc take charge of the regions.

To the contra - if you know Pundit personally - it's the only time to make a small killing from the mean sob - by asking for a soft loan - which he will make a grant in his drunken elations.

I believe your fears are unfounded Kadame - the country has always fought for itself. I desperately hope you are right. This is one thing I DONT wanna be right on. But I think ever since we got rid of Moi, too much has been placed on Railas shoulders by common wananchi. Even jubilants will sometimes shamelessly admit to appreciating his keeping the govt in check. Me, I think he needs to leave completely and create a YUUUUGE vacuum, so those you speak of can emerge.
