She tried in 2013 but William Ruto intervened and even gave the MPs more than they wanted.
She will fail again.

Meaningless.   The new MPs just have to pull the same stunt as their predecessors did when they heard the same "nonsense", and it will be another ride on the gravy train.   For their part, the citizens won't really object: after all, it is "government money", not their money.

They love it especially when their newly minted our man triumphantly returns on a chartered helicopter for homecoming.  Oh, they just adore it.  Yes they do.

Uhuru supports Serem. It upon the judiciary to stop MPS from abusing the constitution. SRC is constitutional body charged with determining renumeration. PSC should not arrogate themselves tha role.

This is what is called a mask. Uhuru issued threats to the judiciary which sent shockwaves around the world. He is now on a mission to appear "reformist" by pressing the SRC to "reduce" his and MPs salaries. This will take real effect (if ever) after the elections. So it is just a gimmick - appearing to support a solution to a problem you created.

Whoever is advising him should instead have counseled against using an "attack" on Maraga to conjure a schism with the judiciary in order to try to manipulate NASA in to a tight spot.
