Polls capture a moment but momentum is what you have to watch for as we enter the last few weeks.  The momentum is with NASA and they need to sustain it. Jubilee have to find a way to stop and reverse NASA's clear momentum otherwise they are heading home.

The poll is conducted by the organization led by the former Ipsos Kenya group - Margaret Ireri. It must have pained her:

22 points is maduong.  Especially for a jubilant leaning pollster.  I also notice the poll is generic NASA/Jubilant.  Were they scared of putting out Presidential polls?

You claim to be a scientist and yet you rely on  one 2013 tribal voting pattern as an indicator of how Kenyans are going to vote in the foreseeable future.  What kind of quack science is that?

Possibly? But ethnic maths has never been wrong.

Windy, I noticed that too. They must have had the presidential numbers for Nairobi but they held them back and instead gave us the generic Jubilee/NASA numbers.

Those as Pundit unknowingly admitted are Presidential polls.

That said, that is what we have been demanding of IPSOS etc - polls per county so we can see 99% for Uhuru in Siaya and then catch them at their own game. So far this one - an offshoot of Ipsos has done it but it must be because of cash.

The only problem is that they claim to have paid for their own poll.

Pundit

What is the big difference? NASA has 56% support to 34% Jubilee. However you look at it - and I welcome you to demonstrate your own way of looking at it - Raila wins.

It shows that Uhuru has lost heavily in relation to the 2013 results:
Quote
COUNTY %
Uhuru Kenyatta = 46.75   (lost 14%)
Raila Odinga = 49.00 (Gained 7%)

I can grudgingly accept it even if aware that in a two race horse a loss on one side usually means a win on the other. Thus Raila should be standing at 63% to Uhuru's 34 and 1% for the fringe candidates. But since you will argue party (as if one prefers a party and not its lead candidate) I leave it at that.

However note that anything above 60% is a wallop!

If it's parties then it's okay.I thought it was presidential.
