In Kilifi - I am starting to take Ford-Asili Kazungu Kambi seriously. Kingi seem only popular coz he is supporting Raila/ODM but has no development record to speak of  - just like Joho.

As for Tana river - I though the Governor defected to Jubilee? Mungatana is running on Patriotic Party with ODM's Dhadho Godhana - looking at tribal maths - it seem Boranas (orma & wardei) have presented more candidates - and if Mungatana play the tribal card well - the Pokomo who are 28% - could win.

To you anything NASA has "no development record" and anything Jubilee has achieved a lot.

Its one of those things designed to be rhetorical.

Let me share with you for free: If you respected Kazungu Kambi when he was minister so do the locals. The same adoration you had for him is equally found locally. However if you found him vain, unintelligent almost stupid, shallow and disorganized so do the locals.

What is more always remember one thing: There is an 80% ODM majority to beat.

Kingi has done a lot for his people. Jubilee tried to embroil him in corruption but failed. We thought you guys will try that kind of thing so I long advised the governor to invest in information.

The claim and propaganda that Kingi is anti development started from Uhuru's mouth when he accused Kingi of not carrying out functions that are not devolved ... i.e primary and secondary education:

Pretty impressed on ECD front (I don't see much on health & other sectors though)- I wish Isaac Ruto could have done even 1/4 of that.  The stealing of Kilifi IFMIS money soiled his name. Peeping at facebook forums..I see Kambi & Mungaro be regarded as more development conscious.

Exactly what has Mung'aro done? The worst primary school in the nation is found in his constituency! It is the one that sparked off claims that Kingi is not delivering.

The IFMIS thing was Jubilee propaganda. Three Kikuyus conspired with junior staff to defraud the county. They then led the campaign to have the Governor blamed for the heist. CORD mobilized advocates and cornered them. The DCI and EACC was more interested in questioning Kingi than arresting the thieves who openly brandished their cash and even came to EACC to watch Kingi being interrogated with questions such as "have you ever slept with another man's wife".

Only the threats of private prosecution by Orengo got some action. The men and woman are free on bail and if Uhuru is re-elected would go as free as all the others.

I can assure you had Kingi even been close to that theft, Jubilee would have ensured that he rotted in jail so Mung'aro could be governor. His biggest offence is to refuse a 50 million bribe to dump ODM and to have joined Joho in defeating Jubilee in Malindi.

"Development Conscious" simply means Jubilee friendly. Nothing else.

Like Tuju - who never stepped in Rarieda lest his new mercedes get stuck is "development conscious". Corrupt Dalmas Otieno is Development conscious". Ken Obura was "development Conscious" until he decamped and returned to ODM to win his seat. I am sure he will become "development Conscious" once the elections are over and incase Jubilee wins!
