Raila still thinking of blocking the tender
« on: June 21, 2017, 04:09:21 PM »
Let see if Odunga will cancel this again. Obviously this would precipitate a constitutional crisis. IEBC have said printing is already too late. We are 45 days to election. No time for Raila games.

One thing I know about Raila, is that for him to keep on shinning the light on the ballot issue, he has very good intelligence.    Jubilee is planning to steal the elections and their jubilee supporters expect them to steal the elections if they cannot win outright. This is because what kibaki did in 2007 is considered brilliant  because we let him get away with it. It is therefore very important this time around that if Jubilee steals this elections, they should not get away with it.  I know Raila has the integrity to  concede if defeated but I also know he has the courage  not to accept  stolen elections because it only sends bad messages to crooked leaders like WSR.

And for rest of us who don't trust Raila we need evidence & hard facts of IEBC collusion with Jubilee.

The information available is that Al Ghurair has already printed ballots for President. That is why that other guy was almost thrown through the window and then when he fled was arrested and accused of attempting to commit suicide. His being listed has caused problems.

Stop lying, the rest of you do not need evidence. All you need is for Ouruto to win through hook and crook.  You would careless if the elections were blatently stolen from Raila.  Just like many Kibaki supporters openly supported Kibaki for stealing the 2007 elections you pundit would be the first to justify the stealing of elections from Raila.  There is another half of this country who believe their is a plot to steal this elections and for ouru not to relinquish power.  We are used to your myopic daily matusi, hubris and arrogance. The long term goal is make this a better country and we have done so consistently by being vigilant.  We took Moi out, we brought Kenya a new constitution, we are constantly making sure that corruption is exposed and we will make sure that who want to steal the elections are exposed.

And for rest of us who don't trust Raila we need evidence & hard facts of IEBC collusion with Jubilee.

Very understandable but very familiar.   I Remember the matusi when Raila first exposed the NYS scandal, followed by Waiguru is not going anywhere yada yada yada.  What else is new.

Right on point.  The same Al ghurushabaab are the same jubilee printers. The game plan was to have jubilee material printed at tax payers cost.

Pundit, why do you state here "tender" although there was no such thing? It was an award and not tender. In a tender, various bidders are asked to present their prices. In this case no tender took place.

I understand what I write hits you in your balls and the giggling might be an involuntary reaction.

Chiloba confirmed on TV that the printing has already started. When the news went out and confirmed what we had been saying the IEBC issued a statement contradicting its own CEO. I hope you laughed when Chiloba confirmed it.

It is simple logic, to print a ballot they must have names of candidates. Explain the dogged determination to exclude this unserious candidate from the ballot? Is it worth going to the court of appeal for?

Stop giggling and get serious.

Noted. The first was a tender. Which Odunga cancelled. IEBC facing crunch time then awarded to Al Gurrair guys.

Here you go with lies. I have been listening to Chiloba recently. What I remember him saying was that today they were gonna send the final list of all candidates with potraits and the works. Then from Sunday the printing press will ran - presidential papers will be printed last from July 18th- and we need all 120M papers delivered by July 25th. From 25th July to 5-6th August is when papers will be delivered to polling stations - in readiness for voting.

Clearly there is no time for games. We are left now with 40 days - to print all papers & deliver maybe to 50,000 plus polling station - that logistic nightmare IEBC have to grapple with - and Raila is not making it easy with unwarranted attacks on IEBC, Chebukati, Chiloba and select IEBC staff like Kasait.

Maybe NASA gameplan is to precipitate a non-existent crisis with IEBC so election don't happen on August but Dec - to be held under some coalition or care-taker gov?

I heard Chiloba loud and clearly. I won't waste my time on that.

About time: It is a black LIE. There are precedents of ballot papers being printed two weeks to elections. Plus there is no need for separate presidential ballot papers. All candidates can be on ONE ballot paper.

Exactly, what's the rational of separating the presidential ballot from the other ballots.  That is how we ended up with "2 million people" who only voted for president in 2013.

"UNWARRANTED"? Raila is doing exactly what he is supposed to do-remain vigilant at all times.  Kenyan voters who are not Jubilee Damu are far from demoralized but energized and are getting an education on the process which will be crucial when Kura is stolen. Two elections ago, 90% of Kenyans did not even know where the ballots are printed and the process.  Because of Raila, Al Ghurair is a household name and their close ties to the Kenyatta family is now a known fact.  Kenyans now know the schedule of printing the ballots and most importantly that the ballots is being printed by a company that the Kenyattaa family may even have a business interest and that they will be printing presidential ballots separately.  Kenyans are starting to understand that the process of voting is much more than merely casting your vote and going home. It all starts with the registration, eligible real people voting, who prints the ballots, how votes are counted and tabulated, etc.  This is very important information that will help Kenyan voters understand how votes are stolen. This information used to be available only to a few people.

If anybody thinks that Ouru and Ruto left this elections to the will of Kenyans voters then they must have been born yesterday. Most ouru and Ruto  supporters that I know have told me in confidence that they cannot afford to lose this election and would blame ouru and Ruto if they were to lose and relinquishes power.  I therefore do not see ouru handing over power unless Kenyans forces his hands. Ouru and Ruto therefore have to make sure they have at least 2 million votes or stuffed somewhere because like me, they do not trust Pundits MOAS. NASA has the votes to win this elections, what they need to focus on is to make sure that the 2 million presidential votes or more is not introduced into the count.
