Rethugs are usually predictably hawkish.  Trump woke up one morning and decided to bomb in anger because of something he saw in TV the previous night.  Are Russians going to permit the US to hit the Syrian government every time they are annoyed?  Remains to be seen.

They have already pulled out of the agreement to minimize in-flight incidents with the US.  That means we are not too far off from seeing US planes being shot out of the sky.  Not bueno.

The Russia connection is getting to him, Muslim ban came to naught, Flynn offering to sing like a stool pigeon, Bannon out of the NSC, draining the swamp, he's actually achieved nothing he promised and he's got plummeting poll numbers, etc.
