The biased Pro-Jubilee Rag - The Nation - has from today launched a campaign to promote what it calls National Agenda. Reading some of the articles I find an clear anti-opposition agenda. Every second line is composed from Jubilee Talking Points.
It insinuate that some politicians "will use chaotic elections" to negotiate outcomes not envisaged by voters. The rag speaks of persons who "
have large egos that would not allow them to accept defeat"
Others have large egos that would not allow them to accept defeat, yet others see an opportunity in chaotic elections to negotiate an outcome other than what was intended by the voter.
To pretend to be neutral, The Rag cites one case frivolous case filed by Pro Jubilee litigant before it descends on cases filed by the opposition. To The Rag, there is no merit in cases seeking to prevent large scale theft leading to the very chaotic elections The Rag is pretending to oppose. When the IEBC was given a free hand to acquire election material with Raila bending over backwards to sanction it (against protests not least from me) they not only failed to procure working equipment but engaged in massive theft. The Rag wants CORD to withdraw another case targeting a firm employed to vet a non existent voter register!!!
