Weather chaos
« on: September 29, 2016, 01:53:52 PM »
What is going on with the weather? ? Is this from cloud seeding or a real phenomena ? My side roof collapsed yesterday in South Australia from twin tornadoes. I'm supposed to fly out there in a week for my r&r which I've subsequently cancelled since I hear these strong winds have been at it for months.

Can anyone confirm whether it's the same in Singapore? Thinking about going to a health and wellness centre there for my annual r&r. I don't wish to be battered with nature during my meditation sessions.

The cloud is just a buzz word for servers.

It amuses me that these data "clouds" are actually located beneath the ground mostly.

Thought of such extreme weather in Nairobi makes me cringe.

These data clouds are just the same servers used for decades. The equipment hasn't changed at all, same install, same cables, same network distributions eg star topology, switches etc. difference is third party software, easier for end users because it has the same sort of functionality a webmaster would do back end - upload sql/data/ stuff.

oh wow. Looks like Nairobi is effected too. .
