These positions should be so apolitical that it shouldn't matter who is occupying them.

I think it is a good thing Mutunga left and now other political judges like Njoki and Ojwang should depart.

I have nothing personal against the Acting President but he has not impressed me by his pronouncements or legal opinion. Not that all should be top notch scholars but they should know their stuff at least better or as well as the advocates who come to plead before them

Makau is simply not CJ material.  He is too partisan.  Lacks maturity.

My money is on Nzamba Kitonga: good profile. CJ must be and be seen to be IMPARTIAL. Visram was tainted by the Kibaki botched appointment.

Kitonga is a Meru I think. How is it an issue? Funny it is what made me finger Visram, the ease of compromising merit for ethnicity. No way.

Gema dont say kitonga but gitonga..so nzamba is defintely kamba and supremely qualified.kil two birds with one stone.I am rooting for him.
