Uhuru State House PR Flops
« on: August 08, 2016, 02:18:43 PM »
Social media is exploding after Uhuru and Co. made a blunder by presenting a road in Elgeyo Marakwet as having been completed.

It turned out the "complete" road and the "old" road were different. Experts quickly located the two roads and guess what? The "completed" Elgeyo Marakwet road has never been touched.

Not to be out done, the Jubilee i36 swung in to action. Using the famous Gachie tactic, they set on insulting anybody who said anything critical.

Pundit said I am good at writing folk tales. Looks like he may get me a job in Jubilee. I can like them change the color of soil and make houses disappear and appear at will. That will go for power lines too.

It was a quickly arranged but well choreographed "Q & A", with handpicked journalists and rehearsed questions. Transport & Infrastructure ministry had relocated to State House... why couldn't they just issue a communique  :D

I understand the importance of a truthful government.  Does it really matter in a tribal political environment like Kenya?  No.  Revealing their shortcomings will not stop their people from voting for them.  Muthamaki and hustler will still be from the same tribes, if they ate a baby in Uhuru Park.

It seems more important to just ensure the other tribes are well prepared to vote on election day.
