If there is no evidence , why arrest the person in the first place?

According to the Kenya Police Babu Owino's  "Raila is not your mothers boyfriend" statement would "incite people to violence" Lol!

Teargas in abundance, thanks to Uhuru. Each cop now has 30 cans to spare. It may soon feature in private homes, and as an export

It all over. NSI personnel visited judge in to chambers. He was asked to keep the MPs inside and only release the ruling and other documents for appeal late tomorrow. Ruto is over reaching himself and will become the target of CORD. He's not that invincible as he thinks.

Ruto has successfully scuttled the talks:

I think it good thing to keep some of these guys...Judiciary has to act tough on most of the serial offenders.

Which should be kept and why? Bail and bond are constitutional matters that cannot be unduly limited. Muthama's charge states that he attended a press conference addressed by Junet. He did not. Should he stay in jail for an offence he did not commit? This is open misconduct and it is Ruto directing these events. Well he has achieved his intention because CORD is going to the streets tomorrow and Monday.

They will kill and teargas as much as they want. It won't change the resolve. In fact we thank him (Ruto) for his lack of foresight.

Where does Ruto come in. Ruto and Rv crowd are last people to incite or spread hate.... coz if they do that..then things will become elephant very quickly.

If you think the magistrate or the judge is not doing his job then someone should report him to JSC. I for one agree that likes of Muthama and Kuria are serial offenders (the police might have made the judge aware) and that Judiciary are aware of 2007 progrom -and would want to send the message.

I would release the rest..but Keep Muthama, Kuria, Kabogo, Ngujiri and Sonu idiot.

Most of these guys have near similar cases..where their bond terms were on condition of not spreading hate...Judiciary need to lock these motor mouths.

Pundit

You are wiser than that.. report to the JSC?

Ruto is in charge and Kenya especially Nairobi is small. We in CORD also have people in the system and we get information. It is WSR who undertook to "discipline" CORD and this is how he is doing it. We know it. His motive is to scuttle the talks.

To my disappointment and perhaps WSR's CORD has postponed the Thursday Demos. May be they now know better. We are under immense International pressure to talk and not demonstrate.

It's been put off. Instructive that the principals left it to their juniors to announce. Not usual

Cord canceling Thursday demo is plainly dumb Jubilee is on the ropes. It's time for a knockout punch on the guts but once you let them buy time they will regroup and scatter the whole movement.  This is plainly dumb it's time to create an off shoot to keep the momentum going.
