Ghana has dismissed reports that part of proceeds from the $1.5 billion Eurobond it issued last year were channelled to a secret account meant to fund the ruling party's election campaign later this year.

The government said reports that $250 million from the bond had been stashed in a secret account were false and were meant to harm the country's reputation in the eyes of investors.

Indeed; my bad for not checking.   For some reason, it was linked as "recent news" to something else I was reading today, the context of which was Africans stealing directly from their central banks.  Anyways ... my main point was to note "questions" regarding CBK staff.
