It was not smart to dismantle urp and try to take on dissidents within the party with arrogance. Ruto has lived in nairobi bubble or power bubble for 5 years.  In the devolution era it will be hard to displace high profile governor. Isaac has a tax payer funded platform better than the one for national govt.

In 2022 Jap will not work because after 10 years in power voters will be looking for change. So WSR should know that he won't be president in 2022 may be in 2032.

The youngman thought he had this in the bag. He now has to watch as titans duel while his fate hangs in the balance.

First it delusional to imagine you can have PORK without a coalition. So whether Ruto is PORK now or in 2022, it will still be some coalition. Right now Ruto is in 50-50 coalition with Uhuru. Why change it?. Uhuru is just marginally more powerful than Ruto....they are more or less equal!

Uhuru is undermining Ruto slowly to weaken him. Ruto has no way of controlling this. Ruto opponents in rv can see this and are trying to cap8talize on it. It is in the interest of uhuru to have a weakened Ruto in his second term. Politics is about perception and right now Ruto is being perceived as weak partner in jap coalition.

That sound more like wishful thinking than anything you can back with evidence. Ruto got 50% share of all gov appointments..from cabinets, to Pses, to parastal boards and such. What else would he want. Jubilee has been cohesive and that is just a fact. You cannot compare this to quarrelsome NARC or NARA.

Why would Ruto quit from Jubilee?

The crusade by Isaac Ruto and company is misguided and will come a cropper....when they are asked what next? Raila!

If WSR is not complaining about Uhuru..why would someone else be complaining :) :) eti unadangaywa :)

Ok..you have the benefit of being on ground. Wsr has 2022 to contend with uhuru has won second term because no incumbent can lose in kenya. Going into 2022 Ruto will lose his 50 to uhuru and uhuru will annoint someone else to takeover.

Come on. You are not serious. How many posts in the govt are held by Ruto's appointees? Cabinet he could have 50% but PSs and there under and parastals are almost all in the hands of TNA brigade.
RVs are just flower girls in this govt.

That is your wishful thinking. Whenever the CS is TNA, the PS is URP. The same with parastal boards and agencies. Obviously URP is not just RVs like TNA is not just GEMA. If RVs were flower girls you would be hearing complaints. Obviously URP got a very good deal here and that is way Uhuru is getting another 5yrs. The folks complaining like Keter Alfred are talking about 2022...

Or flip it and tell us which coveted position an RV should occupy so you're sure we are in gov?

You folks said Finance, Interior and name them would be out of bonds..but check who are either CS or PS of the key ministries including  Energy, Transport, Education, Devolution.

Check the list of appointed CEOS and board chairmen/members? Who are heading or chairing Kenya Power, KAA, Kenya Pipeline,Kengen and other heavy hitters in parastals? Police's IG and the army top commander still have RVS? right?

Check the list of appointed ambassadors.

This gov was shared equally and we have to thank Uhuru for keeping the end of his bargain....and that is why this coalition has been so cohesive..it looks like a one party gov.
